About this deal

Hanging papers, pictures, or other things in your stainless steel refrigerator is still possible without being able to use a magnet. For lightweight objects like papers and pictures, putty is the best option. It can be removed without leaving any residue. For heavier objects, hooks, double-sided tape, or suction cups will be able to handle most of the heavier objects. If you still have the desire of displaying magnets or wish to still be able to have the versatility of magnets you can use a magnet board. Fridge Boards are designed to attach to a stainless steel fridge with suction cups and will allow you to hang stuff or write directly on them. You can also make a magnetic board to attach to your refrigerator. The easiest way to do this is to find the size and style of frame that will work for your decor and cut a piece of sheet metal to fit inside of it. Use screws or nails with a big head. The more steel there is for the magnet to attract to, the stronger the hold. If you work in an office with metal walls or partitions it can be incredibly difficult to hang pictures without drilling unsightly holes which are also difficult to fill in and disguise at a later date. Or maybe you’ve created your own office, studio or workshop with metal walls? Either way, the most sensible and cost effective way to hang your pictures and photographs is to use magnets.

Suction cups are another alternative to putty when you need to hold a heavier object. They are removable and can be easily re-positioned, but will not be able to carry the weight of a similar size hook mounted with double-sided tape. You will need to clean the surface of your refrigerator before attaching the suction cups to ensure they can get the best grip and remain in place. Double-Sided Tape The clings can be a bit on the pricey side but they are a good choice for lighter objects that you will want to move in the future.Have you ever needed to hang a picture or some artwork on the wall in your home or at work but you don’t want to damage the paintwork or make a permanent hole in the wall? Are you an artist looking for an innovative and secure way to display your art in a gallery? Look no further than Magnart and our wide range of Magnetic Hanging Systems! In most cases, using enough magnets so that the corners or edges don't flop or wave in the breeze is what decides the number of magnets required. For a simple 8" x 10" print, you might just use four small magnets at the corners. For a huge 8 foot wide poster, you'll have to space several magnets across the length of it to keep it from bowing out from the wall. It all depends on the size and sturdiness of the artwork being hung. Hanging pictures with magnets in galleries makes them easily interchangeable at the end of an exhibition or when an artistic work is sold. Hanging prints with magnets at home can provide a clean, simple minimalist look to your walls and can also enhance the appearance of an artwork. Neodymium disc and cylinder magnets are extremely strong magnets and the most suitable for this purpose. If you are hanging something heavier you may need to use some removable hooks. Some hooks may use suction or some kind of fastening system like double-sided tape. They can hold much more weight than the putty but will not be reusable and require clean-up to remove the double-sided tape from your refrigerator when you want to remove the hook. Suction Cups Double-sided tape will also leave a residue on your fridge and be impossible to remove from the picture or artwork you are attempting to hang up. In the chart below, test data is shown for some of our popular Countersunk Magnets. These ring magnets range from 3/8" to 1" in diameter, all with a countersunk hole for easy attachment with a flathead screw. It seems that a magnet loaded in this way can hold roughly half the listed Pull Force Case 1.

Double-Sided Tape

We conducted a number of tests with several different nail and screw types. The results depend on the size and shape of the nail or screw. In general, we found holding strengths slightly less than the Situation B results above, though it did vary quite a bit. In this case, there is even more variation due to differences in the amount of friction between the paper and the wall. This can be a simple, effective way to hold prints that aren't too heavy. Some things to keep in mind include: They are specially designed so the wire does not show (only the picture) and they can be used with all types of picture mounts. Double hooks (Item PH-25) easily support large pictures, and for heavier items, we recommend that you use two or more.

Magnetic picture hangers are easy to use and move around. No prep is needed for installing themsuch as drilling holes etc. Simply place the picture hanger on any steel surface and hang your framed artwork and pictures. They can be moved or relocated instantly! Choose a magnet that has a diameter about the same size as the screw head. Larger magnets won't provide any more holding strength. You can also buy a magnetic board or make a DIY one from a picture frame or steel cookie sheet to hold magnets on your fridge. We are hoping this information will help you to learn How to Hang Things on Stainless Steel Refrigerators References If you are trying to hang lightweight pictures or even magnets on your fridge you can use a mounting putty. Just a small piece on each corner of the picture or drawing will hold it to your fridge without causing any damage. It can easily be removed and reused if you want to change out the artwork or remove it completely.

If you are having trouble finding a frame that you like you can make a magnetic board from a cookie sheet or serving tray. You will need to find a metal cookie sheet, cookie sheets made from aluminum that aren’t magnetic, and decorate or paint it to match your kitchen’s decor. It can then be attached to your fridge with double-sided tape to hold your magnets. Protect Your Refrigerator If you are trying to mount a heavier object and can not use a hook, you can opt to just use the double-sided tape without the hook to attach the picture directly to your refrigerator. It does not require any additional steps but will be a permanent installation that can not be moved once attached. If you are using an old picture frame there may already be a way to attach the stainless steel. If not you can glue the stainless steel to the frame. You can then attach the frame to your refrigerator with hooks or double-sided tape. Cookie Sheet Magnet Board
