For 10 dollars I am satisfied that the ring is off, but i would not recommend this for a business or someone who will need it often, for a 1 time use yes I'd recommend it, just to get the job done, especially if your cutting gold or a thin silver ring then I think this will do the trick. It took me with help an hour and a half to get off but it didn't fully cut it, the blade sometimes didn't spin when turned, it didn't complete the job but it did enough that I could cut the rest with a strong nail clipper.
