For this little tipple the Dubliner team take Honeycomb, Irish Whiskey and Caramel, combining these together to make this Sweet and Spicy Whiskey Liqueur. The Dubliner Irish Whiskey is accompanied by 2 variants; The Dubliner 10 Year Old Malt Whiskey – aged for ten years in bourbon casks and bottled at 42%; and The Dubliner Whiskey and Honeycomb – made from a base of Irish whiskey blended with honeycomb and caramel, for a smooth sweet finish. Aroma: Honeyed notes with freshly split vanilla pods and warm biscuity malt, with a hint of nutmeg spice and a lingering floral note.A new addition to the Dubliner range, which you might know from their Dubliner Irish Whiskey Liqueur (combining whiskey, caramel and honeycomb). We source all our malt from Irish farmers and draw our water from our own well within the distillery, which fell as rainwater here over 10,000 years ago. Irish Whiskey needs a minimum of three years to mature, but we will leave our premium whiskey to age for longer. We pride The Dubliner on being the spirit of the city – bringing a little piece of Dublin spirit all around the world. Gently sweet but never overly reminiscent of honey, the liqueur is agreeable, though the nutty elements come to dominate over time, which may throw some drinkers off.Irish whiskey continues its rise with the relaunch of Dubliner — or The Dubliner, if you like — which slaps a new logo and bottle design on its two permanent expressions plus an ongoing “beer cask series” of special editions. Rustic on the palate, those meatier elements give way to a rather harsh booziness, fading eventually to settle on fairly traditional notes of caramel, fresh cereal, hemp rope, and burlap.
