About this deal

Most people believe that simply because satin shoes are beautiful, they don’t require any maintenance. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth! To keep your satin shoes looking their best, it’s important to dye them regularly. The dying process helps restore the fabric’s color and prevent fading. It is possible but you will run into the same difficulties that you do when you dye other satin items. The shiny side may not hold the color for as long as you want. Then you have to be aware that the satin may dry light while the trim may dye dark. As all of these kits differ in how you use them to get the best results. As a general rule, we recommend applying more than one coat of dye depending on the colour you are looking to achieve, but always refer to the instructions for the best results. Option 2 - Use A Shoe Dyeing Service

This is not a hard process either as like all other satin items the dyeing process depends on the fibers used to create the gloves. Also, you need to remember that the shiny side is not as absorbent as the dull side so your results may not be the best it can be.

Wearing rubber gloves, mix 1 tablespoon 15 mL of well-shaken Rit All-Purpose Dye with 1 cup 240 mL of very hot tap water. If tap water is not hot enough, heat water on the stove. Stir well. People dye their shoes for different reasons. Some people want to add a pop of color or personality to their outfits. Others want to match their shoes to a specific outfit. And still, others want to keep their shoes looking new for as long as possible by regularly dyeing them. No matter the reason, shoe dyeing can be a fun and easy way to customize your footwear.

Dylon dyes are made more for natural fibers than synthetic ones. That means you have to stop the process and find out what your satin items are made from. Once you do that you should be able to find the right Dylon dye to handle your dyeing project. After the shoes have soaked, take them out of the water and dry them off. Then, use the rubber bands to secure the shoes, so they don’t move around while you paint them. Once the shoes are secured, start painting! Use as many or as few colors as you like; there’s no wrong way to do it. Make sure each section is completely covered before moving on to the next. Each has its own unique properties that make it perfect for a particular application. You’ll need to experiment a little bit to find the best dye for your needs. Here are a few tips to get you started: Once the shoes are dry, it’s time to rinse off the excess dye. Fill a sink with cool water and add a squirt of dish soap. Submerge the shoes in the water and swish them until all the dye is removed. You may need to rinse them several times. Step 6: Dry the Shoes Since you are dyeing using an alcohol-based emulsion and not painting, ensure that you work in a small area at a time and gradually cover the whole shoe. Try not to use the cotton dauber to brush in straight lines like you’re painting. Instead, use circular motions to spread the dye. Working in a straight line can cause a striping effect that most will want to avoid. Also, try not to saturate the dauber with the solution when applying. By doing so, you maintain control of the dyeing process and minimize runs, which can cause striping. If you’re looking for shiny, sleek satin shoes, you’ll need to put in a little extra effort to get an even coat of shoe polish. Here’s how:
