Would I detect bitterness and envy or would it be a cunning bit of self-promotion on the back of an offspring’s meteoric rise? The individual stories / chapters are charming and funny, and make me wish I really *did* know this lovely family in real life. Now that Tom has become a bona-fide megastar with earning (and babe-magnet) potential beyond most people's wildest dreams, the REALLY compelling book would be a sequel - an insight into the Father-Son relationship now that their statuses have been cemented. The Atlas of Central Solar Eclipses in the USA contains of a series of 499 global maps showing the geographic track of every total and annular solar eclipse across the USA (including Alaska and Hawaii) during the two-thousand-year period 1001 through 3000. The dialogue was diificult and the characters did not seem to come to life for me on the page like they did on the stage.

Eclipsed has been developed out of unusual circumstances which helped to make this a truly unique read. It's an amusing, lovely book that lets its readers glimpse behind the scenes of a world-renowned musical, an impressive film production and, perhaps most importantly, a family whose story is for the most part unbelievable and ridiculous in all its coincidences. The additional conversations, not available in the printed book, add an extra element that makes this audio book a real pleasure to listen to. What a great story, funny and good read - this was published in 2017 - don't know how this bypassed me. It's honest enough to be very relatable, even to those without kids or illustrious careers for them to eclipse, and we all have an ‘Anne Hathaway’ antidote! It is fascinating to discover how much luck, and also how much hard work, that has gone into Tom Holland's career, and I think the story is far from over.The audiobook also has a wonderful added bonus in that each chapter ends with a discussion between Dom and Tom Holland where you get even more insights, jokes, and adventures. They allow viewers to watch the total solar eclipse without risking permanent or temporary damage to their eyes, such as retinal burns.
