My gripes on size aside…there’s reasons for some of the plastic. Under the main barrel are two storage slots for spare darts (the blaster ships with three). The main grip is sufficient, but not nearly as comfortable as the grips on the other Mega XL blasters. The Boomdozer averages 58fps with the Mega XL darts.
