About this deal

The Gigabyte M32QC renders 100% sRGB and 94% DCI-P3 as claimed for excellent vibrancy in games and movies. Its default accuracy isn’t perfect, with its deltaE average of 2.67, but that’s normal for a monitor with extended gamut coverage. It is not terribly inaccurate, so it’s still readily usable with only a few minor tweaks, such as setting its brightness to comfortable levels. For pixel response time speedand input lagtesting, we’re using OSRTT. We’re also using Blur Buster’s UFO ghosting test with 960 Pixels Per Sec, shutter speed set to 1/4 of the refresh rate with fixed focus, ISO and color temperature (6500K). Before the tests, the monitor was calibrated and warmed up. Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen. Moreover, the pixel response time speed is not entirely keeping up with 165Hz (67% pixel transitions in time with 165Hz or 80% at 120Hz), let alone over that. Lastly, the Gigabyte M32QC supports Picture in Picture and Picture by Picture modes, and has a dedicated KVM button, which allows you to connect your keyboard and mouse to the monitor and switch control between the two connected PCs. You can also use the KVM switch in PiP/PbP mode. Design & Connectivity

The percentage of the approximate area, taken by the active part of the screen, to the total front area. We bought and tested the HP X27q, which is a similar budget gaming monitor. We added a few relevant comparisons to this review. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen.

High resolution and fast refresh rate, giving you the detailed display quality and fluid gaming experience! The Gigabyte M32QC isn’t the fastest gaming monitor around since VA technology’s limitations still bind it. That extra 5Hz doesn’t improve its pixel response time drastically, so it still is prone to blurring in contrasting or fast-paced transitions. Setting its overdrive to its Speed option will help, but it cannot altogether remove the persistence. In the default Standard mode, we measured an average Delta E of 3.13, a maximum Delta E of 6.39, a 2.08 gamma, and a 6792K color temperature. The Gigabyte M32Q has an outstanding response time at 60Hz. We still recommend the 'Picture Quality' Overdrive setting, as it delivers the best response time with the least amount of overshoot, but there's a bigger difference between 'Picture Quality' and 'Balance' this time. Unlike at the max refresh rate, there's significantly more overshoot in the 'Balance' mode at 60Hz, and the total response time is significantly slower. Again, 'Speed' is terrible and shouldn't be used.

Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image.
