About this deal

Over the years since our company began, we’ve definitely seen a few bridal accessory trends come and go. Here’s our take on the current favourites. Wedding Veils

If you’re not sure where to start, consider turning to Etsy. In an era when brides have so many choices at their fingertips, there's no better place to shop for a wedding day look that truly sets you apart. Whether you're on the hunt for something nontraditional and unique (think fringe and color) or want to make a dramatic entrance in a jaw-dropping allover lace veil, Etsy's vast collection of ready-to-wear wedding veils knows no bounds. In terms of colour, you might have already guessed that the ivory shades reign supreme as that’s what 90% of today’s wedding dresses are. Particularly for us, our Light Ivory illusion tulle and Pale Ivory Italian tulle — which are our two bestselling shades — followed by Diamond white (an off-white shade) and Ivory Shimmer. We don’t see as much call for pure White or the deeper colours like Oyster, Blush Pink or Champagne. Bridal Headpieces For our bridal headpieces, we’ve seen an increase in requests for wedding combs and clips, and also the classic tiara is still going strong. The versatile bridal hair vine, which can be worn in so many positions, is rising in popularity with brides too. In terms of colour, silver is, and has always been, the most popular headpiece colour brides wear. We suspect the rose gold trend of the last couple of seasons may be starting to wane a little. Wedding Accessories Your wedding dress is the star of your bridal wardrobe, but a good veil has the power to pull your whole look together. Whether you’re drawn to the regalness of Meghan Markle’s cathedral-length veil or the modern aesthetic of Bianca Jagger’s courthouse blusher, there are scores of veils out there to complement any bridal look—it's just a matter of finding the right length and style to pair with your dress.Your veil doesn’t necessarily have to match the exact color of your dress, but it should at least complement it. There are a variety of shades to choose from—white, ivory, light ivory, beige, champagne, and so on. Therefore, it’s important to research and select the color that will work best with your overall ensemble. Additionally, consider the materials used on the veil. For instance, crystal and pearl embellishments may be a beautiful addition to an otherwise minimalist look. Already have a lot of detail on your gown? Up the ante with a cathedral length veil with a lace trim. We especially love the Craft Lis Cathedral Veil. For our other accessories… Well, you can never go wrong with a touch of “something blue” in your garter. For wedding jewellery; less is always more, and a simple pendant is definitely being favoured over chunkier designs. As for bridal belts, again, we’re finding brides are wearing the smaller, narrower designs more than larger pieces. Our mission is to make it super easy for our brides to find their perfect wedding veil. Either by choosing from our 100+ pre-designed styles or creating your own veil with our brilliant and interactive Custom Veil Designer. Or if you really want to create something “wow”, get in touch with our head designer, Lynsey, to discuss a truly bespoke piece.
