About this deal

Each LED is patched as an individual pixel, and offers consistent brightness and extended colour gamut. GetPixelColor blocks we get the Red, Green and Blue values for the picked up color and using the Bluetooth SendText block we send this information to the Arduino in a form of text. The 5V/12 V DC strips can be cut in very short segments and are very slim and flexible, which is smart for applications with demanding request in space. It adopts RGBW (red, green, blue, and white) 4 in 1 SMD5050 lamp beads, which can realize colored light effects.

By having a dedicated white channel on the LED you can produce familiar true white light in either the warm white, neutral white, or cool white variety. In addition to the standard red, blue, and green LED chips, it includes a white LED chip to produce a pure white tone.

In my tests the WS2812B consumed half as much power as the WS2811 when no LEDs were lit, but as expected, the power consumption for the LEDS was almost exactly the same at 60 milliwatts per channel, and the full strip consumed 13. Product Feature The newest SK6812 addressabke RGBW LED strip integrates built-in SK6812 driver IC packaged in 5050 components, supports DC12V low voltage input, individually addressable, each LED can be cut, and the length of the LED strip can be customized. RGBW light strips usually don’t catch fire but certain manufacturing defects or overheating caused by wrong fixtures can lead to fire. For preventing voltage drop, you can divide the longer strips into shorter ones and connect the additional parallel power supply wire for each new RGBW strip.
