About this deal

Use a utility knife or scissors to cut the tip of nozzle on the sealant tube. The size of the cut will determine the bead size. The Chameleon wet room seal is made from a soft translucent rubber that simply silicones to the required position on the floor area - tiled or vinyl. It offers an discreet barrier to stop the water escaping the shower area. The translucent colour helps the seal to blend in with its surroundings and the soft hollow design feels soft underfoot. All in all a fantastic solution to a common problem! Step 4: Sealant on the connect position between the two ends of the water retaining strip and the wall. Hold it at an angle and place the nozzle against the surface. Squeeze the trigger or lever steadily to apply a continuous bead of sealant. Maintain a consistent pressure for an even application.

From the results of the test, Adiseal was the only product that maintained its clarity both above and underwater. Unlike other alternatives, Adiseal retained its transparent appearance regardless of the surrounding conditions.

Step 5: Sealant is applied on both sides of the water retaining strip, which can be used in 24 hours. It's like having a mini perimeter around your Wet Room floor ! Plus because it's made of silicone, it won't hurt your feet if you tread on it. Due to the different monitor and light effect, the actual color of the item might be slightly different from the color showed on the pictures. Thank you!

Tip: To store Adiseal once opened, leave about 1cm worth of product out of the nozzle and store the tube upright in a cool dry place. Adiseal requires moisture for it to cure. The exposed part out of the nozzle will cure creating a cap. To re-use Adiseal, pull the cured part out or cut the nozzle until the uncured part is reached. Sealants typically need a dry surface to adhere effectively. When working with water-containing items, drying the surface can be time-consuming, especially in large-scale applications like pools. Additionally, not all sealants maintain their strength when water is reintroduced.

It is a common problem with the ever growing popularity of walk-in shower areas coupled with power showers or high pressure shower systems. The water level rises, as the waste cannot cope with the flow required, and water escapes to the rest of the bathroom!

The Byretech Shower Floor Seal is also wheelchair friendly as you can go straight over it without problems. Adiseal has been found to be the best wet sealant in our experience. It seals instantly, has strong mould resistance, strong colour retention in water and provides a high quality durable seal. As can be seen in the image, Adiseal remained mould free the longest. This was after an impressive 90 days of being submerged in the same water. A clearness retention test was conducted in water with sealants from various manufacturers. Each product was applied inside clean plastic cups, partially filled with water, and covered. The image below depicts the results after 16 days. Clearest sealant test results when sealant were kept in water.

Itself has waterproof adhesive under it, which can be installed after tearing off, very labor-saving. Adiseal is available in several colours and also a transparent (clear) version. Some clear sealants might say clear on the tube but are cloudy when applied. Adiseal clear wet sealant is transparent and also was the strongest at maintaining its clarity when submerged in water.

Insert the tube into a caulking (sealant) gun or dispenser and secure it in place. Press the trigger or lever to load the sealant into the nozzle. Adiseal retains its clear appearance remarkably even after continuous 16-day submersion in tap water. In contrast, the competitor’s clear product in the image turned white, signifying substantial loss of clarity. This visual evidence underscores Adiseal’s superior underwater performance. The Chameleon wet room seal is an ideal solution for situations in wet rooms or shower areas where the flow of water runs out of the floor area it is not intended to. Step 2: Determine the installation position of the water retaining strip and mark it on the ground with a pen.Seals for Wet Room Floors are required when water gets to places in the Wet Room where it clearly shouldn't be. There may also be occasions where a leak may want to be stopped immediately like a leaking gutter. A wet sealant can seal the leaking gutter straight away even in rainy conditions outside. Sometimes the fall on the tiles / shower room floor is found not to clear the water away as fast as it should. This new "easy to fit" seal solves this common problem and creates a 10mm high, 20mm wide barrier to hold in the water long enough for it to flow down into the waste and out of the wetroom. For a sealant exposed to damp conditions, strong mould resistance is crucial. To showcase Adiseal’s robust mould resistance, we conducted a test using various products. Each product was applied inside clean plastic cups, partially filled with water, and covered to prevent external contaminants. Strongest mould resistant sealant test results in water after 90 days.
