About this deal

It is often said that a silk finish is the best paper for flyers and leaflets due to the mix of imagery and text. Square Format: This format of flyers can be used for more personal communication with potential customers. They're quite a unique format and are an elegant and original choice. They can also be transformed into invitations. A C-fold or Roll Fold leaflet can have 6 or 8 sections depending on size. An A4 leaflet for example would commonly have 3 sections on each side and a larger 396x210mm leaflet would have 4 panels on each side. Each panel on either document should be 99x210mm. Recyclable and biodegradable, kraft flyer are an excellentchoice for the environmentally conscious. You’re walking down the street. Someone hands you a piece of paper explaining a community effort. Did that person just give you a flyer, a flier, or something else?

Mostly visuals & some text – Go with gloss, it has a nice shiny finish, which will make your images look their best and the text will also be easily readable. It’s the best of both worlds, the gloss is sure to catch the attention of your customers and once they start reading, they are for sure to appreciate your design.or 200gsm are the most popular weight choices for high quality flyers. 155 or 195gsm nevertear flyers are ideal for a durable flyer that cannot be torn. Pearl flyers provide a classy finish that shimmers in the light. Ideal for simpler designs with plenty of white space. Colour replication– Digital printing technology advances daily and our digital printers rival litho presses on the majority of projects. However, there are some colours that litho presses just replicate better. Where we believe a job will be better suited to litho printing we’ll always make that recommendation. With that said, we’re incredibly fussy with print and our standards are second to none. If we’re happy with the print, we’re confident you will be also. For example, you might come across a sentence such as air traffic has increased this summer, with Chicago’s O’Hare airport seeing 22% more fliers than normal. Make sure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint unless you want this effect in your design. You can read more about overprint in our Help Centre.

Glossy paper has a shiny finish and it is a popular paper choice for printing flyers that have intricate designs or lots of visuals. Try using 2 fonts - one for the headline and one for the body. A flyer that has too many fonts is difficult to read and looks unprofessional. A5 paper size is 210mm x 148mm. You can cut it in half to create two sheets of A6 paper that measure 148mm x 105mm. A5 and A6 are both commonly used for flyers, whereasDL and A4 flyers are less popular. We can print flyers using recycled or brown kraft paper for a more eco- friendly option. We have the widest range of paper styles and textures. More specialist types include pearlescent paper and conqueror textured papers which are ideal for event invitations. See our article Printing Onto Textured Paper which shows some of the patterns that can be desbossed into your printed materials to create a ridged or sandgrain effect for example.

Belfast City Centre– Our delivery team will hand deliver your print within the greater city centre area. We have written a guide about Matt Vs Gloss Print which explains the differences between the three paper finishes. Gloss and matt are both used for flyers for different reasons. In a nutshell, a matt finish is better if you have a lot of text, whereas gloss adds vibrancy to images. Most of our customers choose silk paper for flyers. It has a slight sheen without the shine of full gloss. When the quantity is greater than 5,000– Due to the method of printing, lithographic print has a higher set up cost than digital printing. However as quantity increases, this cost is spread over the print run and so usually when the quantity increases above 5,000 it becomes more cost efficient to litho print leaflets. In each of the paper types in the previous tab we offer a range of weights to suit all purposes of leaflet printing and of course budgets. Offset Lithography/Litho printing: This technique uses wet ink and aluminium and rubber plates to transfer images and text onto paper sheets, resulting in sharp, vibrant, and consistent prints. While this method may require slightly more setup than digital printing, it's the most cost-effective option for larger print runs. Prepare your files using CMYK as the colour mode, not RGB. Use colourmode FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) for coated papertypes and colourmode FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) for uncoated papertypes. If you are unsure of the colour mode of your file, don't worry we can always convert this for you. Keep in mind this can cause the colours to differ from the original file. That will depend on the size and turnaround time you choose. To get an accurate quote in seconds, give our online cost calculator a go. Why should I choose recycled paper Flyers?

It goes without sayingFlyers have stood the test of time as far as marketing is concerned. You might have seen a Folded Leaflet menu, something as detailed as an extensive menu would require more space and layout capabilities that are only available with folding. Flyers on the other hand, would more typically have a small amount of digestible information that could then be tossed in the recycle bin. They’re both low in cost and provide a great marketing tool, but serve slightly different purposes. This is because there are fewer starting costs, fewer components involved, and no ink drying time required. You might want to consider pinning your flyer to bulletin boards in staff rooms or student break areas. There are often noticeboards in food outlets where there are queues so cafes, takeaways and fish and chip shops can be an effective way to advertise to local customers. Some pubs and clubs might have a noticeboard for their members. This weight of card is perfect for giving brochure covers a more rigid finish for a high quality feel. The same word spelled the same way can also refer to people, animals, or objects that can fly. It may be used to describe passengers on an airplane as well. Bio Top: Recyclable and made through a chlorine-free (TCF) bleaching process with no optical brightening agents. This process leaves the paper with an off-white colour and a natural, uncoated texture. It is pleasant to the touch and comfortable for reading.
