About this deal

The contained surfactants are biologically degradable according to EU-regulations. Free of phosphates. Disposal: diluted product may be added to waste water. Containers are made of environmentally friendly polyetylene (PE). Clean containers can be recycled through collection system. Ordinary cleaning won’t effectively remove grout haze. Help is at hand though thanks to low-cost specialist products such as Fila Instant Grout Remover that can make light work of removing any grout haze on the surface of your new tiles in your bathroom and kitchen. Allow to dry again and then give the surfaces a final treatment with a more dilute solution of NCC Cement, Grout & Salts Residue Remover, this time diluted 1 to 5 with clean water, leave for a further 12 to 24 hours and finally rinse thoroughly with clean water by appropriate hose / jet washing.

Surface preparation: Ensure that the surface to be treated is completely clean and free from any dirt and dust before application. Where necessary wash the areas first with NCC Grime Remover, rinse well with clean water and allow time to fully dry. Iron containing natural stones such as serizzo can develop yellow discolouration (rust) and should therefore be treated with Lithofin MN Builder’s Clean to avoid this effect.

Dilute NCC Cement, Grout & Salts Residue Remover 1:1 with clean cold water and apply liberally on the affected surfaces using a low-pressure spray unit or with a suitable brush. Universally usable after tile laying, during fabrication, for cleaning facades and wherever ceramic tiles and stone must be thoroughly cleaned. Safe to use around plants and metals. This product is fully biodegradable and is one of the safest acid-based cleaners on the market. With a powerful but fume free formula, this product is safe to use indoors as well as outdoors. Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover is a highly active cleaning concentrate based on a special composition of acids and supporting agents. It is nearly odourless and does not develop any vapours. Allow the grout time to initially set and become firm in the grout joints. Always follow the grout manufacturer’s instructions but generally it’s around 15 to 30 minutes. Step 2

Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover dissolves organic deposits such as cement and mortar residues, residues of flexible grouting materials, efflorescence, rust and calcium deposits. The dirt can then be completely removed from the surface. Dilute Lithofin cement away up to 1:20 with water and apply it to the wet surface. Allow the product to work briefly, then rinse with plenty of clear water. As with all paving cleaning and surface treatments, we strongly recommend that you always test NCC Cement, Grout & Salts Residue Remover on an inconspicuous area prior to its general use. Always mask and protect any adjacent areas and materials that are not being treated with the product. This time-tested combination has proven to be the ideal product for many cleaning requirements of the professional user. This ensures that your grout is spread evenly across your tile. And while the grout float will remove the majority of the grout from the surface of the tile, invariably a thin layer of grout remains on the surface of the tile – otherwise known as grout haze. The best way to remove grout haze: step by step guide Step 1 For indoor use, we recommend Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover for ceramics and Lithofin MN Builder’s Clean for natural stones. Allow the NCC Cement, Grout & Salts Residue Remover solution to work and react for around one hour at 20°C, do not allow to dry out. After one hour, or if it starts to dry out, re-apply and this time leave and allow to work for around half a day to a day, approximately 12 to 24 hours, then pressure hose / jet wash off with clean water.
