What I do appreciate about the book is the confrontation of the racial experience and relationship of a young black woman with a white best friend in the 1920s.

I very much expected this to be hard to go through as I have never seen the movie or have any knowledge about that story. K. England, Micol Ostow, and Kristina Perez, this collection filled with magic, intrigue, and charm is a must-have for Disney and fairy tale fans alike.One of my BIGGEST pet peeves in reading is when characters do things that don't make sense for who their character is and that's what the entirety of this book is.

It was definitely the best written (this was Farrah Rochon’s first contribution to the series) and some definite character growth and development.

I had honestly lost a bit of faith in Disney Publishing after my last few arcs, but this is the best book! Nothing at all is known about this entry in the series, including whether any book will be released before this written by the other authors. He was trying to use it to gain access to the fortune of Eli LaBouff, the richest man in New Orleans, by wooing LaBouff’s daughter, Charlotte, who dreams of marrying into royalty.
