As the fragrance dries down, the base notes of musk and woody notes emerge, adding a sense of warmth and depth to the fragrance, creating a sensual and long-lasting fragrance. The problem I have with the ambroxan in Cloud, or especially Cloud Intense, is it’s overpowering and masculine to me. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates. It dries down quite similarly to BR540, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but not terribly exciting either.

So happy to see it was red currant, much more fruity currant with out that cassis black currant “cat urine” smell. Still, Wild Rose is my favorite womens Coach fragrance I’ve smelled so far and is very likable and contemporary.
