About this deal
The bulb’s body is what you might think of if you’re considering the shape of a candelabra. On the other hand, experts might associate candelabra bulbs with small-sized bases. Edison screw bulbs are renowned for their versatility and interchangeability among certain types. As long as the base size is the same, these bulbs can be interchanged with each other to achieve your desired look or amount of light. E26 and E27
That tiny size difference (2mm) between E12 and E14 bulbs makes most buyers assume the two are the same. As for the body, type B bulbs are longer with a sharp tip at the end, which gives them a bullet or candle-flame shape. The diameter of the widest part of the B11 bulb is about 1 ⅜″, or 35 mm.Again, the letter “B” denotes bayonet, and the number 22 indicates a base diameter of 22 millimeters.
A temperature of 1900K won’t light up enough to provide the suitable bright illumination of candlelight. But, again, don’t go to a high color temperature of about 2700K, as that is exceptionally bright, especially if you want to mimic genuine candlelight. With the tiny difference in sizes–a few millimeters, in many cases–most buyers can confuse E12 and E14 bulbs. These bases have a diameter of 39 and 40 millimeters, respectively. Mogul E-type bases have the biggest diameter, which can help you identify them. They have big diameters because they are made for the biggest fixtures, which almost mean they put out a ton of light. This fitting is the most common screw base for high-wattage lamps such as street lights. With a screw base diameter of 39mm, they are uncommon for household use as they are best suited for outdoor lighting applications. Bulbs that use the B22 base have a similar coding mechanism to B15 bulbs. The only difference is that, due to the size, they usually have a code like BY22d or BY22s.
