In these applications HELICOIL® thread inserts generate heat-resistant, wear-resistant and high-strength thread of the highest precision. The high performance internal thread provided by our wire inserts is far stronger than most parent materials, and is also heat, corrosion, and wear resistant too. All kits have a quantity of inserts, the proper size drill, high-speed steel Heli-Coil ® tap, and installation tool.

The polygonal twist of the HELICOIL® Screwlock results in a high friction locking capacity and thus a captive screw lock.The kits contain everything needed to install a Helicoil, including the inserts themselves, a drill bit and a tap, an inserting tool and a tang break off tool. The dimensional stability of the ISO thread complies with DIN 13 6H, with 4H for special requirements, and meets the requirements of international standards. Our standard free running wire thread inserts are produced from Austenitic Stainless Steel wire (304/A2 Stainless), which is cold drawn (profiled) to form a diamond-shaped wire. All of these master sets come complete with a drill, tap, installation tool, and a quantity of inserts for each size and complete instructions.
