About this deal

Cassian takes Nesta shopping in a nearby village. They meet Emerie, whose wings have been clipped. Nesta asks Emerie for some warmer training clothes. Cassian tells Nesta he’s taking her to the Illyrian mountains to train. Nesta is displeased, but when she is threatened with being returned to the mortal realm, she agrees to go to the House of the Wind. Cassian found a loophole in Nesta’s favor. The next day, he went to Windhaven where Emerie lived. At his side, Rhys paled and said they weren’t there. Bursting the door open, Cassian notices the male scent and blood in the house. Gwyn, Emerie and Nesta had been taken from their beds to participate in the Blood Rite. Part Four: Ataraxia Chapter Sixty-Four It’s no choice at all, it’s not specific to Nesta’s needs, and it’s a rotten thing to do. (Side note, what happened to Feyre’s art therapy school?) It’s how they’ve always treated Nesta: she aches and acts out, and they see only her behavior, not the source of her pain. But the truly chafing thing is, of course, it works. This patronizing prescription of strenuous exercise and hard work is the catalyst for Nesta’s course-correction. She is offered a chance to train with the Night Court’s warriors, led by Cassian, the Illyrian general and her former enemy-turned-ally.

She enjoys singing very much and often sings during the evening services. However, she struggled to sing for a while after her twin sister's death.White, Caitlin (December 10, 2015). The next day, Nesta finds three new priestesses in the training ring- Roslin, Deirdre and Ananke. Later, Nesta attempts to scry, Cassian is with her. Nesta feels nothing so she stops. At night, Nesta feels darkness tugging her and screams. Cassian sees Nesta’s face, a mask of pure terror, her body surrounded in silver fire. Rhysand and Azriel come in to handle the situation. At the sound of Cassian’s voice and Rhys’s darkness, Nesta stops screaming, and falls unconscious. Rhys, who saw Nesta’s mind said her power are pure death. Chapter Thirty Our characters are not flawless, and that is what makes them so real. They make mistakes, act out of anger, say the wrong thing and hurt the wrong people. And yet they learn, and as they learn they teach us how to be better people too.

Neither Feyre nor Rhys can get her out. Nesta’s eye suddenly open but it wasn’t her eyes that were shown but rather silver flame, a small extent of her power. In their final attempts, Cassian talks to Nesta and then kisses her. Nesta regains consciousness and without realizing it, Cassian warmed the entire room. The rest of the room looks at the location Nesta pointed to, The Bog of Oorid, home to pure darkness and lurking evil creatures. Rhys doesn’t have a map of the Bog because it is forbidden to map the middle beyond vague landmarks. It is decided Azriel, Cassian and Nesta will enter the Bog of Oorid tomorrow to find the Mask, one of three Trove items. Chapter Thirty-Two Feyre sends Cassian over to Nesta’s apartment. Cassian tells Nesta to sort herself out and get ready to go over to Feyre’s place. At last, Nesta meets with Bellius and his group. She unsheathes her sword whom she named Ataraxia meaning Inner peace. Chapter Seventy-One

She smuggled them through a trapdoor in the kitchen but realized if she got herself out the soldiers would find the trapdoor and follow them. She decided to stay, covering the trap door with the rug and a table and that is when Hybern's soldiers burst in. The General asked her the location of the children which she refused to answer. Smelling a similar scent from one of the priestesses they captured, he dragged her twin sister Catrin in front of Gwyn and asked her again about the children. Gwyn refused to answer and the General beheaded her twin sister in front of her along with two other priestesses. She then was raped by the General. She was about to be forced against her will once again as the soldiers gathered but Azriel arrived and slaughtered all of them within moments.
