Our trials showed that moisture absorbers won’t do much to reduce damp in a room that’s routinely used for drying laundry. So moisture absorbers can help with small day-to-day damp issues, but shouldn’t be relied upon for any serious damp-busting. One solution to this problem would be to place the product in a container such as a plastic basin. This way you ensure that if a spillage should occur, your nice carpet won’t get any blue goop on it. Scented Versions? We recommend this type of moisture absorber for small spaces as they are less effective in large rooms. This product is also great as a preventative measure against mould and damp before it has even occurred.
