Llamas Unleashed. It’s already an intriguing game before even finding out what it is, but once you see the cards you’ll be playing during an average game it’s almost definite you’ll want to learn more. But what we need to find out is whether the great artwork and brilliant slices of humour is enough to keep you hooked in the world of unicorns. Read on to find out! Spicy Uno is a card game with wild cards, reverse cards, and many actions such as trading and asking for help. Spicy Uno is less challenging than Llamas Unleashed and could make a great party game if you like the concept of a big group card game with lots of variants.

The Specifics

As the turns go, you try to place animals into your field. But on top of Basic Animal cards, there are also Magic Cards, Upgrades, Downgrades and Instant Cards. They each have a unique ability from the Velcro Barrier that stops people stealing Llamas and Alpacas from your field to Berserk Llama Syndrome which forces other players to sacrifice their own animals. You give yourself upgrades, others downgrades and hope that no one has Embrace Diversity which lets them win with two fewer animals in their field. Play" specifically refers to playing a card from your hand during your Action phase or playing an Instant card at any time. If you move to your Draw phase without triggering an optional triggered effect, you can no longer trigger that effect this turn. Once again, you’ll need to work hard to defend your herd and stop your opponents from growing theirs. The main difference between games is herd size and the outright duels as opposed to downgrades or pulling the neigh card.

If multiple triggered effects require a target, the same card may not be selected twice in the same link. If there are not enough cards to target, you may only trigger as many effects as you have options for targets. You must select targets for mandatory effects before selecting targets for optional effects.There is nothing offensive or graphic in this game that would upset younger children. We believe the age range is due to the mental challenge that comes with the game and that it may be a little much for younger children. Alternative Games to Llamas Unleashed

So if you’re looking for games like Unstable Unicorns, you’ll get just as much fun out of Llamas Unleashed whilst enjoying some new rules and lots of new, cute cards! This game is also filled with strategy and of course betrayal as you sacrifice your friends to save yourself. You may be fighting the babies, but you’re really fighting each other. You’d like to think you’re above messing with other people’s monsters by severing their limbs. But you’re really not.You can use cards along the way to up your chances of winning while sabotaging the efforts of your opponents – but, remember, whatever you can do to them, they can do to you! This is a fun twist on Unstable Unicorns that will cause entertainment and infuriation on games nights.
