About this deal

PS I haven’t noticed how much my eyelashes/brows have grown yet BUT I have noticed my blonde peach fuzz is growing faster than normal but that’s a minor downside for me. This is why some people apply it not only to hair on their head, but also to eyebrows and eyelashes. Pure, cold-pressed, and hexane-free is one of the best (if not the best), oils you can have at home to use daily on your face.

A laxative for constipation– castor oil is a stimulant and lubricating laxative which works by causing contractions in the small intestine when ingested orally (Our Organic Castor Oil is safe for ingestion). But what about its nutritional profile? Castor oil isn't typically consumed in large quantities for nutritional purposes due to its strong laxative effects, but it does provide essential fatty acids. These fatty acids are important for overall health, supporting various bodily functions including cell membrane structure and hormone production. Studies suggest that castor oil can help reduce the aching misery of arthritic joints. Some studies involve topical application of castor oil on the joints, while others got patients to take capsules of liquid castor oil. Induction of labor Apply the oil: Pour a quarter-sized amount of the oil blend into your hand and massage it into your face using smooth circular strokes. Gently rub 2 drops of Castor oil with a few more drops of Coconut oil under your eyes every night before you go to sleep.Castor Oil is also one of the few carrier oils that can be used as an emulsifying agent. In cosmetics applications, Castor Oil can be used in creams & lotions, body butters, soaps and massage products. It’s also often used in hair care products due to its ability to create a rich, ‘fluffy’ texture and to help soften the scalp and treat dandruff.

As a consumer, it is challenging to identify whether castor oil contains hexane residue, as it is colorless and odorless. Once the oil extraction process is complete, any hexane that was used is removed. Even if trace amounts remained, they wouldn’t affect the appearance or smell of the oil. A randomized, double-blind, comparative clinical study looked at the effects of castor oil capsules on symptoms of knee osteoarthritis. Since some of it may get into your eyes (which is harmless), make sure to always use a dropper bottle to keep the oil uncontaminated. The same goes for your eyebrows: Soothe a sunburn: Castors oil’s anti-inflammatory properties reduce pain and redness. Apply castor oil mixed with coconut oil (in a 1:1 proportion) to the affected area, or try the same remedy as a natural lip balm to solve chapped or sunburnt lips. Wrap castor oil cloth around any painful area. Cover the oiled cloth with another hand towel or a plastic wrap to prevent oil getting on clothes or furniture.Hexane is a highly effective solvent, but its safety profile is controversial. Hexane is a neurotoxin, meaning it can have negative effects on the nervous system if a person is exposed to large quantities. It’s also volatile and can contribute to air pollution when not handled properly. However, its presence is generally not present in the final product. The process involves evaporating the hexane, leaving behind the oil. In the morning, there may be crusts formed at the edge of your eyes. This is the calcification and other matters that are being dissolved for elimination. Simply wash them off with your facial cleanser, or with mild soap. Cataracts, as with any other degenerative conditions, are a result of free-radical or oxidative damage. Place the warm washcloth over your face to create steam against the skin. This will help remove the oils and any impurities in the skin. Leave the washcloth on your face until it cools down.

Inducing labour– occasionally recommended by midwives, castor oil induces labour in pregnant women. Scientific research shows that Ricinoleic acid, the fatty acid that makes up ~90% of the oil, binds to one particular receptor in the uterus causing contractions which “ induces labor in pregnant females“ [2]. See our article – Castor oil to induce labour. It promotes blood circulation, and the most-welcomed “arrival” of collagen and elastin, which delay wrinkles and fine lines and immediately create skin glow. In the case of cataracts, it is an oxidation to the protein structure of the lens, a process called glycation. The damage is likened to the process of egg white protein turning opaque when it is slowly heated (the process of glycation), working from the outer ring of the lens to the center of the lens.
