It took me 30 minutes to get all of my lashes off, even the very stubborn ones I was afraid would never come off. I also didn't have major problems with my real lashes being pulled off (only a few) because I was patient. I got the lash-free in my eyes by accident once or twice and it stung very badly. I recommend having a wet cloth with water on hand. I also recommend the method above for limiting pain from getting the product in your eyes because when your face is parallel to the ground, gravity can't pull the lash-free into your eyes.
