How to add Static Block to Side of Slider?

Postby YourEcoWorld » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:55 pm

Hi,

I'm looking to reduce the width of my slider which I'm fine with doing and then add 3 static blocks to the right of it.

http://ecotoystore.co.uk

However... when I add the block, it automatically drops it undernearth the slider - any ideas what I need to use to make sure it goes to the side?

Thanks

Lind

Hi Linda,
You could try wrapping the block in <Div style="float:left;"> </div> might work

or similar

Well it still adds it underneath - been testing it on http://youraloestore.co.uk so you can see what happens

Here's the static block code:

Code: Select all
<div id="slider-wrapper">
<div id="slider">
<ul>
<li><a href="#"><img style="border: 0pt none;" src="{{media url='helloslide/aloe1.jpg' }}" alt="" width="600" /></a></li>
</ul>
<div style="float: right;">{{block type="cms/block" block_id="callout1" template="cms/content.phtml"}}</div>
</div>
</div>

Not sure if I'm missing something? - More than likely ;0)
