The plastic chin cup is securely attached with elastic and fits comfortably under the chin.The stark contrast between studded and smooth surfaces that becomes apparent across the reverse also appears consistent with 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet. In addition, the dark bluish grey filters closely resemble those on the Stormtrooper. Recreating the complex curvature and shaping associated with helmets is inherently difficult, particularly when using angular LEGO pieces. Fortunately, the famous Scout Trooper helmet includes relatively few rounded shapes, hence 75305 Scout Trooper Helmet compares rather favourably with the source material. The filtration system and lens seem particularly attractive.

Scout trooper helmets are distinctive within the Imperial army, featuring fewer dramatic curves than Stormtroopers or other personnel. That design certainly appears suitable for LEGO which is inherently angular and this model looks brilliant. The prominent visor shroud seems accurate when compared with the movie and I think the scale of this helmet is perfect, measuring nearly 19cm in height on the display base. Scout Trooper Helmet faithfully recreates those important design features and exhibits an impressive standard of detail, closely resembling the helmet introduced during Return of the Jedi.
