Our Joint-It Experts Top Tips! Store Joint-It Simple in a cool, dry place. Protect tub from punctures or piercing. Any exposure to air will start to harden the product. Joint-It Simple – can be applied to concrete paving slabs, cobbles, and natural stones including – Sandstone, Granite, Limestone, Slate, Concrete Slabs, Yorkstone, and Porcelain tiles.Surface can be walked on approximately 24 hours after application at temperatures of approx. 20 degrees. Ensure the joints, all of the joints are cleaned out to a minimum depth of 20mm and a width of at least 3mm up to 25mm is recommended. Approximate coverage using 4 size random paving per 20kg tub is 10 -12 sq m, depending on joint width and depth or for more accurate calculation please use the handy joint IT calculator Take care not to brush the product out of joints or into nearby drains. JOINT-IT will start to harden in joints within 90 minutes at over 20 C degrees. In lower temperatures JOINT-IT will take longer to harden. Once bag is opened, contents must be used within 4 hours.
Keep pressure washers away from paving for at least 28 days after application. If you need to power-wash the area, keep the nozzle 30cm away from paving. Final Cleaning: Clean the surface carefully with a fine hair broom so that all JOINT-IT residue is removed. Always sweep diagonally across joint.

Joint it Simple is a paving jointing compound that is easy to apply. It is loved by professional landscapers, builders, and homeowners. This compound can be used for joints 3mm to 5mm wide. Having 5mm or broader joints is best when building a patio from scratch. The product can be used starting from 3mm, but more effort is required to get the product to full depth. Joint it Simple can be swept into the joints of slabs that have been already soaked with water. It is compatible with all natural stone and concrete paving products. Joints must be a minimum of 3mm wide and 25mm deep to apply Joint-It Simple. If the joints are smaller than this, we recommend using Joint-It Fine.
