With method 525.3 you will now add the internal standard to the final extract not in the sample prior to extraction as stated in 525.2. I was glad to see this change as I felt that the addition of the internal standard to the sample normalizes the data and accounts for all losses without the impact when the IS was added prior to extraction. Prime factorization involves breaking down each of the numbers being compared into its product of prime numbers. The LCM is then determined by multiplying the highest power of each prime number together.
