About this deal

I won't grade this stand, but I will simply tell you that this stand receives two big thumbs up!! You get a quality stand with a cool minifig add-on.

The two sides below show the angle at which the model will be positioned. The angle is roughly 60 degrees. The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures on the right hand side and LEGO® information plaque to the left of the ship.

Two plates will connect the left side and the right side and give the stand its rigidity. The image below also shows the separate minifig stand, which fits nicely into the main stand. Because of the lowered slope, you can still open the falcon, and most play features are easy to access including the cannon underneath. There's only one flaw in the design - it's noticeable in the instructions at step 13 because the software used to create the stand's manual deemed it an illegal connection, and it puts an uncharacteristic amount of strain on the frame. When assembling the stand it feels like the lift arms are going to snap under the force they are put under to make the connection. And though it seems there is some subtle curvature that probably leaves the designers at LEGO wincing, trust the design as it all settles outand you end up with a perfectly square and symmetrical stand.

It is possible to move the model on the stand, but you need to make sure to hold the two sides of the stand. Our angled stands show off all the Falcon's best features and save on space, so you can have a wider choice of where to exhibit this legendary, incredibly detailed LEGO® build. Special Features: Angled at a 70 degree angle, you can display your LEGO® Millennium Falcon in tighter spaces whilst also being able to appreciate the wonderful details across the top of the ship. No matter how much advance groundwork you have done, the fitting is a bit of a struggle so be prepared to accept the reality that some re-assembly of the UCS Millennium Falcon will be required. Having the instructions to hand at the end of the build will take the stress out of any final touch-ups. The amount of slope is lowered to 40 degrees to keep a better balance between aesthetics and storage functionality. The full dimension of both sets+stands is kept within 27cm(D) x 28cm (H) to be fit in most ordinary bookshelf. Previous ones are often too high and do not look naturally floating.

The premium acrylic add on contains embedded studs to firmly hold your Minifigures and LEGO® information plaque in place in front of the vehicle. Efferman's own advice is to build the UCS Millennium Falcon onto the stand, rather than mount a completed build on it. He says that "hte perfect situation for mount is when the floor plates on the underside are assembled. After this there is easy access to the underside during building." The top of the angled stems have small hooks for added support, holding the Falcon firmly in place. For the Sets: Switch two 1x2 plates (Trans-clear) to another two landing gears wherever they are placed on the top of the stand.
