About this deal

It took us years to perfect the knives we make today, Because just like you, we know that quality takes no shortcuts. MORAV: The History of Robotic Warfare, the graphic novel, is the first installment of the MORAV series, which introduces the Multi-Operational Robotic Armored Vehicles referred to as MORAVs, and explores the ways this new technology changes the world. The story follows a young pilot, Lt. Michael Okeda, who discovers a conspiracy to start a corporate war for control of Tangri Island. Only in the first years after the Velvet Revolution in 1989 did a few Moravian political parties seem to be able to gain some success in elections. However, they lost much of their strength around the time of the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993 when Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. The series continues in live-action with MORAV: Missions, a captivating sci-fi tale that follows a motley crew of unforgettable characters as they're deployed in various conflicts around the world during WW3, to fight for their political and personal freedom during the birth of giant robotic warfare. According to the 2011 census, the percentage of people without religion was the lowest in the Moravian Zlín Region, followed by the partly-Bohemian, partly-Moravian, Vysočina Region; the South Moravian Region; the Moravian-Silesian Region; and the predominantly-Moravian Olomouc Region. After the Velvet Revolution a strong political movement to reinstate the Moravian-Silesian land ( země Moravskoslezská in Czech, since it was one of the four lands of Czechoslovakia between 1928 and 1939, was active in Moravia. Accordingly, the officially-united Czech ethnicity was split in line with the historical division of the Czech Republic into Bohemia, Moravia and Czech Silesia (the Czech lands). Some of the Czech-speaking inhabitants of Moravia declared Moravian ethnicity, and some of the Czech speaking inhabitants of Czech Silesia declared Silesian ethnicity. Třeštík, Dušan (2008). Počátky Přemyslovců. Vstup Čechů do dějin (530–935) [The Beginnings of the Přemyslids. The Enter of the Czechs into History (530–935)] (in Czech). Nakladatelství Lidové noviny. ISBN 978-80-7106-138-0. There were 1,363,000 citizens of the Czech Republic who declared Moravian ethnicity in 1991. However, the number dropped to 380,474 in the 2001 census: many persons previously declaring themselves as Moravians declared themselves again as Czechs in this census. In 2011, the number increased again to 630 897. The strongest sense of patriotism towards Moravia is found in the environs of Brno, the former capital of Moravia. However, the results of the census are skewed by the fact that most Moravians do not know that they can sign up for the Moravian nationality, but would use the option, according to a 2011 survey. In the 9th century, Moravians settled mainly around the historic Region of Moravia and Western Slovakia, but also in parts of central-southern Poland, Lower Austria (up to the Danube) and Upper Hungary. The first known mention of the Moravians was in the Annales Regni Francorum in 822 AD. The tribe was located by the Bavarian Geographer between the tribe of the Bohemians and the tribe of the Bulgarians.

Until the beginning of the 20th century, the Slavic-speaking inhabitants of Moravia publicly identified themselves as Moravians, not Czechs. [10] Then, for fear of Germanization, Moravians would begin to publicly refer to themselves as Moravian Czechs — joining a stronger neighbour. But internally they still felt their nationality (for example, here [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]). Slovaks were considered as Czechs by politicians, too. [16] In the Czechoslovak and communist eras, Moravian nationality would be banned, [17] so for the first time since the fall of the dangers of Germanization (1945), Moravian nationality appeared in the 1991 census. The Nation of Kumala. Divided into two separate states, they have endured an uneasy peace for hundreds of years, but now they find themselves embroiled in a bloody conflict that pits East and West at each other’s throats for control of the entire country. MORAV has so far been funded by myself with invaluable help of close friends, coworkers and other renegades from the entertainment industry. It's very much a grass roots independent project of personal creative passion. I have waited a long time for someone to come out with a gritty realistic giant robot series. I always wanted to see this done in the most tangible possible. I finally decided if no one else is going to do than I will. After talking with some of my friends about MORAV I found that I was not the only one that thought this was a good concept. Lines will be drawn, friendships tested, alliances forged, and the balance of military might will be forever changed by a weapon the likes of which no one has ever seen or imagined. The scripts were written by M. Zachary Sherman who has also written for Dark Horse Comics Star Wars Visionaries series and Image Comics Seal Team Seven. Also working on the MORAV comic is artist Pencil artist Budi Setiawan who worked on Roadkill Zoo , Colorist J Brown Inker James Taylor, and Letterer Sean Konot. But even as Tangri’s King deploys his historic special forces team, The Dragon Army, in an attempt to help subdue the ethnic cleansing in Kumala, the JND is secretly testing a new and devastatingly powerful robotic super-weapon on their peaceful island, one that will ravage Tangri’s future before the King’s forces have time to react.

As tensions evolve into all-out war, heroes from both Tangri and Kumala unite with a corporate peacekeeping detachment of the Joint Nations Defense force in an attempt to prevent the onslaught of genocide. If they fail, the conflict could destroy Kumala and threaten not only the stability of Tangri Island, but engulf the remainder of South-East Asia into a global war. The Moravians ( Old Slavic self-designation Moravljane, [7] Slovak: Moravania, Czech: Moravané) were a West Slavic tribe in the Early Middle Ages. Although it is not known exactly when the Moravian tribe was founded, Czech historian Dušan Třeštík claimed the tribe was formed between the turn of the 6th century to the 7th century, around the same time as the other Slavic tribes. [8]A few years ago we started writing a television series. Since we began developing the world of MORAV, we have written more than enough to do just a television show. We have come up with a long enough chronology to make web episodes, comics, television shows and motion pictures without repeating stories.
