About this deal

Use this atlas as a companion to whatever history book you're reading to get a better sense of space. The first two editions were created by Barry Winkleman, the editorial director of Times Atlases and Managing Director of Times Books. It wished to give a dynamic view of population migrations, economic developments such as agriculture and industrialisation, wars, the spread of religions and political ideologies. It allow the reader to find a variety of topics, and should a particular topic stand out, to find other sources that can lead the a further understanding.
