About this deal

The text is not a beginner's work. It adds detail and nuance to the basics that would have been studied prior to it. Nur al-Idah - despite its brilliance - was not Imam Shurunbulali’s most celebrated work. He was most famously known for his work, the Shurunbulaliyya, a hashiya (marginal notes) on the Durar of Mulla Khusraw which covers all the topics of jurisprudence. At a time when the discourse surrounding Islam is generally inauthentic and shallow, The Path to Perfection presents a much-need... This is the third edition of Reflections of Pearls, a short compilation of Arabic supplications with their English translations and transliterations. Ascent To Felicity : Imam Shurunbulali : Free Download

An admirable rendering into lucid, fluid English of Imam Hasan al-Shurunbulali’s primer of Hanafi law, Ascent to Felicity. This concise but thorough work focuses on the five acts of worship. The book has the added feature of a fairly detailed presentation of the basics of the Muslim Creed. In translating this introductory section of Imam Shurunbulali’s treatise, Khan’s skill as a translator is on full display, as he has made sometimes involved theological concepts easily accessible to the average English reader. Khan has provided an additional service to both Shurunbulali’s work and to contemporary Muslims by augmenting the translation with insightful and extremely useful explanatory notes. The value of this work, skillfully produced by White Thread Press, goes far beyond its benefit to adherents of the Hanafi legal school. Rather, it will prove of benefit to Muslims in general as well as researchers interested in latter-day presentations of the creed and practice of Sunni Muslims.” Imam Zaid Shakir This treatise became an integral component of seminary curricula across modern-day Turkey, India, Pakistan, Egypt, the Levant, and the Caucuses. Additionally, Imam Shurunbulali penned two authoritative commentaries on “ Nur al-Idaḥ“: the more extensive “ Imdad al-Fattaḥ” and its abridged variant, “ Maragi ‘l-Falah,” both of which garnered widespread acclaim. Notably, the “Imdad” is referenced over seventy times within the esteemed ‘Allama Ibn ‘Abidin’s magnum opus, “Radd al-Mubtar,” which remains a foremost legal reference within the later Hanafi legal tradition across the Muslim world, despite its coverage limited to just five chapters. Abu al-Ikhlas Hasan bin Ammar al-Shurunbulali was born in Upper Egypt in the year 994 AH and he passed away in 1069 AH. When he was six, his father took him to Cairo where he memorized the Qur’an as well as studied the islamic sciences. He then studied at the Azhar University where he flourished, surpassed his peers and then later became a professor there. Based on the works of Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Sakhawi, Shaykh Ashraf 'Ali Thanawi, Shaykh Yusuf ibn Sulayma... In this seminal work, the author suggests that each chapter of the Qur’an contains at least one distinct theme that underlies—and shows the logical connection—between every verse of that chapter.Nur al-Idah wa Naja al-Arwah (The Light of Clarification and the Salvation of Souls) aims to cover the issues of purification, prayer and fasting at an intermediate and exhaustive level. It is also written in a very deliberate and scholarly method, and gradually ramps up its level of nuance. Aside from the flowing translation, the most impressive thing about this work for me is the comprehensive collection of nuanced notes. These serve to capture the wide range of issues one grapples with, but might never find the right answer to, in the process of his or her purification, prayer, fasting and other acts of worship. An extremely engaging and educational read.” Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf I have read through a number of fiqh books looking for those small questions which pop up when reading works such as Quduri and Hidayah. I would have to previously look through multiple books for one answer as to how small actions invalidate salah but this book is amazing. The footnotes contain alot of research and answers and I highly recommend all students with even the slightest interest in fiqh to read this book Uzair Patel
