About this deal

Up to a point. Oral-B’s CrossAction, FlossAction, Precision Clean, Sensi and 3D White brush heads work across brushes in the Vitality, Pro, Smart and Genius lines, but iO Series brushes have their own specific Ultimate Clean and Gentle Care heads. What features are worth paying extra for?

If the Oral-B Genius is an Audi, the Oral-B PRO 2 2000N is a Skoda. Same company with so much value for the money. I’m happy to start using this brush and I got it as a Birthday present. It’s a pink one but that’s fine by me, I dont care about the colour too much and Pink is Cool! Regular price 100€ and it was on sale for 50€, good price, fair price for sure. It’s not a cheapo value electric toothbrush, but also not a high-high end one. No need to get a high end one, In my opinion. Reply However, there are also variants that include a basic, but perfectly functional travel case that holds the handle and up to 2 brush heads. The best Oral-B electric toothbrushes to buy in 2023

Protruding from the body, the power button is easy for the fingertip to detect. You do need to give it a fairly firm push, so those with dexterity issues might find it a bit more challenging. One advantage buying Oral-B is that you can use all tooth brush head models on every tooth brush. Also the added 3rd year warranty is a great bonus ! Last but not least the Li-Ion batteries in an entry level device are hard to beat but remember that Philips Sonicare already had them for years.

The handle is water resistant, so a rinse under the tap is perfectly fine. All the important electronics, including the battery, are sealed inside. We previously had a Oral-B Professional Care 3000 but after two years the Ni-MH batteries where very bad so I got new ones under warranty. Now two years later I am happy to see that Oral-B use Li-Ion batteries which have such a better life. I was used to putting toothpaste onto my manual toothbrush before brushing, but doing this with the Oral-B it sprayed off when I pressed the button, so now I have to wipe toothpaste onto my teeth first. Is this the recommended method? The documentation is multilingual but very limited in scope! Reply Electric toothbrushes are clinically proven to be superior to manual toothbrushes, providing benefits in removing more plaque for cleaner teeth and healthier gums. Oral-Belectric toothbrushes remove up to 100% more plaque than a regular manual brush, which is why they are recommended by UK dentists and hygienists. Oral-B electric rechargeable toothbrushes (from Pro 600 model upwards) also whiten teeth starting from day one by removing surface stains. Electric toothbrushes are suitable from ages 3+, with specific kids electric toothbrush models available, and are gentle on gums and suitable for sensitive teeth. Electric rechargeable toothbrushes come with replacement toothbrush heads, which should be replaced every three months.I can confirm that the charging stand provided with the Pro 2 2000 I have is made in Germany. Reply Sensitive is great for those who want to enjoy a less intense cleaning action, or for those days your teeth or gums might feel a little more tender. It pairs really well with the softer bristled Sensi UltraThin brush head. In fact, if you are a new electric brush user, you might like to begin using the Pro 1 with this mode to ease yourself into the additional power on offer. In toothbrushes it seems the new modern tech way is the best/better… Some things like shaving are better the old school way (safety razor wet shaving). My opinion. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly it has not been designed to be easily repaired by yourself. Trying to replace parts like the battery will likely break the brush. This makes it more likely to be discarded rather than repaired if broken. The pressure sensor doesn’t work as you would expect: you won’t know when you are brushing too hard

Should the battery life get worse in this time, the warranty will allow you to get the brush repaired/replaced.The Pro 2 2000 has the essential, dentist-recommended features you need from an electric toothbrush. Brushing for the full 2 minutes is very important, but just as important, if not more so, is using the right technique. Make sure you learn how to brush your teeth properly — you don’t use an electric brush in the same way you do a manual. The visible pressure sensor will alert you when you are brushing too hard

Bought this brush (Pro 2 2000N) in June 2018 and have used it for approximately 3 minutes a day. At he beginning, it gave more than a week of brushing. Then I needed to recharge every other day, lately every day. A 2020 life-cycle analysis of electric toothbrushes found that the average brush is 11 times more impactful than a manual toothbrush. If your toothbrush of choice is currently a manual brush you will really see and feel the difference should you switch. I just bought PRO 2 2000 White version and noticed it auto turns off after about 4 minutes 30 seconds. Is this normal? Review doesn’t mention anything about auto turn off. Braun claims it doesn’t auto turn off after 2 minutes. Reply It isn’t a deal breaker by any means, but it does produce a louder and more mechanical sound than the humming noise that a quiet sonic toothbrush produces. Most sonic toothbrushes register at 60-70dB.The Philips 5000 Series Facial Hair Remover is cheap, gentle and gets the job done… here’s T3’s full review
