Previously my two monitors were so cramped on the desktop that one partly obscured the other and I'd be ashamed to tell you about the mess (and dust) underneath both. About the only downside is that the arms cannot be altered for height. However, had I two monitors of the same make and size this would not be a problem. As it is my two monitors are from different manufacturers and are slightly different in size.
