About this deal

Nicknamed Mr Manchester, he transformed the Northern music scene as founder of Factory Records and the Hacienda nightclub after earning a cult following as a television presenter. You’re welcome to choose anything from our menu at anytime or just pop in for a glass of wine and bowl of olives or a great coffee and a homemade slice of cake. Rosie gets offered a job in Manchester, but after she meets single dad Gabe, she soon starts debating whether to take the offer as the pair get closer. She raped her when she was still in her man's body because, idk, she was trying to force herself into masculinity. Our lunchtime favourites are very popular such as homemade steak and ale pie, liver and bacon with leek and onion mash, we even have a hot dessert of the day.

Rosie finds herself unexpectedly out of a job and offers to help out her lovely Italian grandmother by working at her cafe, the Lemon Tree Cafe – a little slice of Italy nestled in the rolling hills of Derbyshire – it seems like the perfect way to keep busy. In a serial you have time to digest one part before having the next one, but reading all of this in one was a bit much. It has been a long time coming but I finally managed to visit ‘Lemon Tree Deli Cafe ‘on the Ely square. Cathy Bramley is the Sunday Times bestselling author of romantic comedies including Wickham Hall, The Lemon Tree Café, Hetty's Farmhouse Bakery and A Match Made in Devon. I didn’t start writing until 2013, before that I ran a PR and Marketing agency for many years and loved hearing my clients’ stories of how they started their businesses. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon and they had extra seating set up outside as the weather was nice – so now was my time to strike! When Rosie Featherstone finds herself unexpectedly jobless, the offer to help her beloved Italian grandmother out at the Lemon Tree Cafe – a little slice of Italy nestled in the rolling hills of Derbyshire – feels like the perfect way to keep busy.

There is also this lovely, brilliantly captured community spirit when the people support each other, and the cafe was in the heart of all things happening. However, just when Rosie decides it’s time to head back to reality, an old acquaintance suddenly reappears, and the prospect of life at the Lemon Tree Café begins to seem more appetizing . My favourite thing to do is to get myself comfy with a book in my lap and my dog, Pearl beside me and lose myself in a story. I have a feeling that there is a lot more to this cafe and I look forward to exploring it more again in the future when I have more time. This is my last attempt to listen to a Cathy Bramley title if Colleen Prendergast continues to narrate the books as she has done fo the past 7 audio titles. I warmed to the book and the characters right at the beginning - even to the all - knowing nonna (you know I have huge problems with wiser than wise older aunts, grandmas, cousins in the stories. From about the 50% mark onwards the book was impossible to put down, as I was already engrossed with the characters, and the story just seemed to ramp up as it progressed. The new feature is WI-FI so you can keep in touch with the wider world if you want to or the kids can have fun. Also, and this is a personal thing, I mostly went in for the romance but because of the book being split into parts, the love interest isn't introduced until like, a hundred pages in.
