About this deal

Dynax-UC is completely safe to use on the vast majority of paint coatings and is ideal where dark coloured waxes or underseal would detract from the painted finish of vehicle bodywork or underside. Dynax-S50 has a high solids content – over 50%, it’s this content that forms the anti-corrosion coating, and whilst other high solids materials don’t penetrate sufficiently Dynax-S50 creeps by capillary action deeply into seams, flanges and folded edges, in side-by-side trials Dynax-S50 has been proven to creep significantly further than other cavity waxes, some with solids contents as low as 25%.

Follow that up by treating everywhere with Electrox. It's a fantastic Zinc Treatment. They sell it either in an aerosol or in a tin, which can be brushed on or thinned down and sprayed on. If you're spraying it on then thin it down with pure Xylene, not regular thinners. Again, give 2 coats.Dynax-S50 is so effective and versitile that it has been used with superb results to protect voids and cavities in steel boats, vessels, off shore installations and other steel structures subject to severely corrosive atmospheres. After solvent washing the panel fronts any remaining waxy film is removed, allowing inspection of the underlying surface. Assessment of the product performance is then easy. If you want the very best treatment possible, then take everything down to bare metal and treat any "pitted" areas with Hydrate 80. Let it do its thing for the longest time it suggests, then treat it a second time, using brush strokes against what you did first time round. Dynax-S50 is tolerant of a broad range of application pressures and will form a coherent film upon application. Dynax-S50 will increase in viscosity at low storage temperatures.

Dynax-S50 is also able to arrest existing corrosion and provide long-term protection to both heavily corroded and corrosion-free surfaces. As you can see from the salt-spray test demonstration, Dynax-S50 clearly outperforms other highly rated cavity waxes. Infact, after much testing Dynax-S50 was presented with the best cavity wax accolade from University of Hertfordshire – School of Engineering and Technology. The graphic below shows Dynax-S500 treated on half a metal panel after 2084 hours in the salt spray chamber. We competed with six other rated cavity waxes in this extensive test, including brands such as Robuster, Hammerite and Mike Sanders. For non-aerosol dispensed Dynax-S50, warming the container (loosen cap first) by standing in a hot water bath will further reduce viscosity and is beneficial where deep crevice protection is required. Never heat aerosol dispensed product. Ensure that cavities are left unclosed for a period of 48 hours to allow the escape of carrier materials before bunging or stopping. Dynax-UC can be easily removed if required with simple solvent wipes or alkaline degreasers after the aggressive winter months pass, or left in place for prolonged protection.

After solvent washing the panel fronts any remaining waxy film is removed, allowing inspection of the underlying surface. Assessment of the product performance is then easy. I’m sure you can decide which panel one looks best! The pressurised giant-sized Dynax-S50 aerosol dispenser accepts interchangeable heads: The 60cm cavity injection lance has a precision fluid-tip to deliver at high-pressure, a dense, finely atomised circular mist of Dynax-S50, ensuring 360 degree coverage of box sections and cavities. See image below – The final picture in the series below shows Dynax-S50 protected metal is still in exceptional condition. It creeps into welded seams and seals surface defects. It forms a soft, brown, wax-like film that self-heals in the event of disruption. and did you apply anything else before/after?Yes that's the one, except it's now been largely superseded by Rust Encapsulator. Dynax-UC can be applied to bare metal or painted surfaces, anywhere where a discrete and powerful inhibitor is needed.

Well I'm not really any clearer to be honest. Some saying to avoid Epoxy Mastic like the plague and others (including Mr. Hamber himself) saying use it... The panel fronts as removed are difficult to asses as corrosion streaks and marks are left as during the test the unprotected panel edges allow corrosion deposits to pour down the vertically positioned panels. The range offers asulphonate rich waxy film which provides unparalleled protection to car underbodies. The giant 750ml aerosols are equipped with a unique valve and cans charged to 70 psi they work on their side and even upside down. Long term protection in seconds. The advanced metal seeking anti-corrosion molecules which form Dynax-S50 are able to displace water, so even damp surfaces can be protected, these same molecules arrest and prevent corrosion even on already rusty surfaces and provide remarkable self-healing abilities if the film is damaged. Whilst Dynax-S50 is primarily a cavity rustproofing compound it’s also able to prevent corrosion in a multitude of mud traps and water collecting voids. Dynax-S50 has been used with superb results to protect voids and cavities in steel boats, vessels, offshore installations and other steel structures subject to severely corrosive atmospheres. It's a primer and magnetite converter in one that takes over six months to fully convert the metal. the boot tailgate where the plastic (or in his case the chromed plastic (ghia spec) boot handle/ numberplate lamp holder rattled the paint off) I was in a rush so I just left the casing in RCP which is permissible as it's a non-porous coating.Dynax-S50 is a very high performance anti-corrosion wax that provides exeptionally long-lasting protection to steel surfaces. In the event the steel is substantially corroded, then omit Hydrate 80 and use Electrox, never use both together. So the choice is either Hydrate 80 or Electrox depending on cleanliness achieved at the prep stage. Dynax-S50’s soft-film is optimised for enclosed cavities where extremely corrosive conditions develop. Dynax-S50 is also recommended for protection of valuable machinery and components in transit, machine tools, moulds etc. Dynax-S50 can be removed using suitable solvent. Dynax-S50 is not formulated for prolonged exposure to ultra-violet (UV) light. the biggest issue with the focuses in my limited experience (dad had a 51 plate estate mk1B) from nearly new These 750ml aerosols are equipped with a unique valve.
