About this deal

The sale of customised goods or perishable goods, sealed audio or video recordings, or software, which has been opened. A handbook no half-blood should be without: a fully illustrated, in-depth guide to gods, monsters, and all things Percy. This companion to the series comes complete with trading cards, full-color… His true form in the Duat, however is, as Sadie describes it, a mountain of sand, doused with petrol, set on fire, spinning in the world's largest blender. Despite the two being married, Nephtys and Set do not seem to trust one another all that much. Although she does love him, Nephthys knows that Set is dangerous and aids in the battle against him. It is hinted that Set loves the water goddess as well, as when she betrays Set to let Isis escape, he does not harm her. Also Set has told Nephthys his Secret Name, showing some evidence of love and trust to a certain degree. The demigods rush to the rescue to find that Grover has made an important discovery: two powerful half-bloods whose parentage is unknown. But that’s not all that awaits them. The titan lord Kronos has devised his most treacherous plot yet, and the young heroes have just fallen prey.

Set seems to hold a strong hatred for Osiris, possibly because Osiris replaced Ra, who he was fiercely loyal to, as the Pharaoh of the gods. Set has made many spiteful actions against Osiris and seems to actively attempt to cause him suffering, such as encasing him in molten led and leaving him in a state that he can not leave the land of the dead. The Trials of Apollo pentalogy serves as a direct sequel to The Heroes of Olympus series. It sees Apollo, the Sun God, punished by Zeus for his role in the conflict between the Greek and Roman gods during The Heroes of Olympus. He is turned into a mortal named Lester Papadopoulos and sent to Camp Half-Blood on a quest to restore five Oracles around the world that have stopped working. This series also comes with one companion book: Despite the mild love and trust they have, Nephthys gave away their only son, Anubis, to be raised by Osiris and Isis. She claimed that she did so so that did not want their son to grow up with him or for Anubis to meet his father.

Percy and the Greek Demigod forces successfully fend off the Titan Army from Manhattan and save Mount Olympus. Set was originally a major god of Upper Egypt. He was viewed as a benevolent god and protector, though he has a long history of feuding with Horus. When Upper and Lower Egypt merged, the followers of Horus gained power and increasingly demonized Set. He went from being a chief god to Ra's protector, to being merged with Apophis. Despite this, he was still in some areas a major god and has had several revivals. The exact years the books take place in are unknown, as the literary universe references pop culture that has come out years after it ended if the starting year for the series is 2005, such as movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One criticism the movie adaptations received is how the main trio was aged up for the screen. The new adaptation will remain true to the character’s ages in the books, with a younger trio cast.

Other series, like the Kane Chronicles, Trials of Apollo, and Magnus Chase, don’t feature Percy at all. These books, however, are set in the same world. This means that names and places will be familiar. Our servers are getting hit pretty hard right now. To continue shopping, enter the characters as they are shownPercy receives an urgent distress call from Grover and he needs to prepare for battle immediately. At his side are Annabeth and Thalia, two demigod allies, and his trusted sword, Riptide. Then, as they race to the rescue, Grover discovers two new powerful half-bloods with unknown heritage. In The Red Pyramid, Set was first considered to be the main villain, but he later helps fight against Apophis, the actual villain. This makes him similar to Hades in The Lightning Thief, who later helped fight against Kronos. Set's role, however, is initially more sinister in the first book than Hades's. Set has multiple forms due to shape-shifting capabilities, and has appeared in several ways, but always contains some form of the color red, throughout the series.
