About this deal

With support for HDMI and DisplayPort, the Brix can power two displays simultaneously, increasing its viability for productivity purposes. The HDMI port only supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 on our Dell 30" display, while DisplayPort runs at the native 2560x1600 resolution.

Enhanced by the latest Intel Iris graphics cores, GIGABYTE’s latest BRIX Extreme with a 12th Gen Intel ® Core™ Mobile processor boosts a 10% improvement on graphics performance compared to the previous generation. The new BRIX mini-PC natively supports four 4K/60P display outputs via 2 x HDMI, 1 x USB-C DisplayPort, and 1 x mini-DP for the best in monitor compatibility. Furthermore, the new BRIX is equipped with the newest HDMI 2.1 technology. With new HDMI 2.1 standards, BRIX will deliver up to 8K resolution to your display or TV to enlarge your imagination with stunning image quality. When testing in the GIGABYTE Sound Lab, this all new 2022 BRIX ran at an almost undetectable sound level below 20dB, and that low noise level is maintained even when running heavy workloads where the sound level is still under 30dB. Moreover, when bleeding edge performance is needed, the 12th Gen Intel ® Core™ Mobile processor enables boost mode with a TDP up to 45W, and still the noise level tops out at 35dB.Gen Intel ® Core™ Mobile Processors with Intel IrisXe also take graphic performance and multimedia processing to a new level thanks to its massive 96 EUs (Execute Unit) which allows users to play the latest DirectX12 Ultimate games at ultra settings. Able to create content and handle high-performance AI acceleration, the BRIX Extreme can also support full 8K media support via the HDMI 2.1 port. Featuring outstanding graphics performance and DDR4 memory speeds up to 3200MHz, these processors boost processing performance with optimized power efficiency for versatile applications including gaming, daily tasks, and entertainment. The new 2022 GIGABYTE BRIX Extreme designed for the 12th Gen Intel ® Core™ Mobile processor has more to be discovered. In the development stage, the foresight was not only to unleash performance, but also to do so while operating cool and quiet. After precision thermal, firmware, hardware design, and other tests were conducted, the all-new 2022 BRIX became one of the highest BRIX performers, and yet the quietest. Once inside, you'll spot an 802.11n Wi-Fi Mini PCIe module preinstalled. Above that is the mSATA slot and there are also two SO-DIMM DDR3 slots.

Gigabyte's pint-sized "Brix" systems come in four different processor configurations, including the 1.8GHz Celeron 1037U, 1.9GHz Core i3-3227U, 1.8-2.7GHz Core i5-3337U and 2-3.1GHz Core i7-3537U. Those seem much more powerful than Intel's lineup and that's certainly enough to warrant our attention, but it's worth noting that Brix also offers more USB 3.0 ports and Wi-Fi out of the box. There is a USB 3.0 port in the bottom left corner that comprises the front panel connectivity, which is built into an aluminum shell that wraps around both sides and the rear. This new BRIX mini-PC also inherits GIGABYTE exclusive Ultra Durable technology and passes strict verifications that provide users with the best integration of ultimate performance, quality, and multi-functionality. This all new 2022 BRIX Extreme will be available in Q2 2022. Taking advantage of Ivy Bridge's efficient operation, Intel accompanied its third-generation Core processors with a new small form factor platform dubbed Next Unit of Computing (NUC), the initial wave of which were powered by Core i3 and i5 Ivy Bridge parts mounted to an ultra-compact 4x4" motherboard – considerably smaller than even the Mini ITX standard.
