About this deal

This time I am bringing you 6 DIY Texture Paste Recipes (aka molding paste or modeling paste) that you can prepare at home for any of your mixed media projects.

To start the styling process, grab a dime-sized dollop of hair paste. Then, start activating and warming it up by rubbing it in between the palms of your hands; there should be no clumps. If further paste is required, you can add more later. You don’t want to start off with too much product, as this will potentially ruin the desired result. Then add the powdered gypsum (also known as calcium sulfate) slowly into the glue and water mixture while mixing until everything is completely integrated. Make sure there are no lumps. This one is super simple – shouldn’t take too much time. And YOU, Rupa, make my world richer, warmer and more FUN! xox The absorbent qualities of Molding Paste make it suitable as a ground for nearly every painting and drawing media. WOw! You made it look like a deep sea treasure! Absolute amazing! Thank you for taking the time to experiment with so many options (like it was a chore, lol) and sharing your results.

Easy to use and safe I use this to make moulds for casting small objects in resin. Very simple to use, no gloves required and almost no cleanup (just wash your hands!) Hey Daphne! You do realize that I got GOOSEBUMPS when you wrote that ‘another canvas or box is calling my name’, don’t you? You know why? Because that’s what thrills me more than anything! To know that all this Mayhem inspires someone ELSE to get messy is my delight. Thank you, my friend! xoxToday, we’ll make some super-useful DIY Modeling Paste, and I’ll show you several ways to Dress it UP! Another mouthwatering dish you`ve served up Heather!! Beautiful and inspiring —both the project AND the artist. Can`t wait to give this a try and thankyou for all the fantastic “recipes”.

Absolutely the product I’m searching for. It offers great hold, texture and pliability. And it feels like there is almost nothing in my hair, which is a hard quality to find in most products.” Golden Molding Paste can be used to achieve a variety of effects and expressions. When used in conjunction with acrylic colours, they broaden working properties and expand creative possibilities. Unlike gels, pastes are opaque because they contain Marble Dust or other fillers that create a white or clay-tone finish with a variety of textures and properties. You, Heather, are simply amazing – well “simply” is certainly an understatement! Masterful and inspiring, with obviously a never-ending inquiring mind that will try anything!!!! Thanks so much for sharing another technique. Hmmm, another canvas or box is calling my name 😉 Golden Molding Paste is a popular medium for acrylic painters of all styles and is available in soft or hard.Pomade lasts longer than most other care products, and had previously taken a few extra washes to completely remove it from your hair. Today, however, they are typically no longer made of petroleum jelly — therefore are much easier to wash out. Not just great at keeping everything in place, this versatile best hair paste for men from Pete & Pedro uses argan and coconut oils to help repair, moisturize, and add moderate shine to all hair types. Better yet, it does all this without being stiff, greasy, or flaky. A final product to consider is a hybrid material called GOLDEN Extra Heavy Gel/Molding Paste. This product was produced for an artist who wanted the greater translucency that a gel offers as well as the ability to build up higher, more accurate peaks. GOLDEN Extra Heavy Gel/Molding Paste provides that bridge between a Gel Medium and a Molding Paste. Although still drying to a light gray color, it allows the artist to achieve greater depth of color than that achievable with the standard Molding Pastes.
