You have been an integral part of our lives for many decades and are truly irreplaceable. Thank you for everything ma'am. A very sad occasion for all, someone who will be missed by all and a very special person. She worked to the end of her life for her people. Thank you for your duty and dedication. You set the course for our country and steered it through the best and the worst times. Sadly missed. Thank you I never met HM, but she was the grandmother I never knew. I'm moved by her passing, but I am inspired by the life she led and the role model she was for her family, nation, and Commonwealth. Over her seven-decade reign, she has shown unwavering and inspirational dedication to the nation and I pay tribute to her years of service. I’m sure her legacy will be special and longstanding.

We were filled with deeply sadness when we heard about the loss of the beloved Queen. So sad to hear of the death of our beloved Queen.. May she rest in peace. God Bless...You did us proud. Thank you for your service and for being the constant in all our lives. May you rest in peace Your Majesty, you will be sorely missed. A woman who was engrained in our lives, our parents lives and even our grandparents lives. She delivered her promise. Someone you could relate to whether it be because she reminded you of your own granny or her love of animals. I had the pleasure of meeting her in June at our historic Ceremony of the Keys and it has been my privilege and honour to be her personal representative in Edinburgh. To many she is the nation’s mother and grandmother and it is with great sadness that I convey, on behalf of the Scottish capital, our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to all the members of the royal family at this very sad time.She reminded me of my grandad, whom passed away a couple of years ago aged 93. Two people with great morals, character, kindest and energy which I'm unlikely to see again lifetime. With great sadness I send my condolences to her family. I have never met you, but you have been a part of my life since the day I was born for all that you have done during reign I say simply RIP you will be sadly missed, thank you for all you done for the whole of Great Britain. You will be with your love of your life Phillip A young man Mahdi El Shafi, son of a former Vice Chancellor of University of Sebha in Libya sent me a voice mail this morning saying 'HM The Queen lived in peoples' hearts'. May you rest in peace to Queen Elizabeth. Thank you for being a leader of peace, respect, hope and love for life. Your smile said it all. X

Thank you Your Majesty for 70 years of service. You will be greatly missed by everyone in Scotland and across the world R.I.P Deeply saddened to hear the announcement. Truly an incomparable lady and will be missed by many. The world needs kind yet determined ladies like she was.

Here in Edinburgh from the US, we were deeply saddened to learn of the Queen’s passing. Admired greatly and with the upmost affection, our condolences to her family and the fantastic people of the UK. You have been a constant in our lives since I was born and have been honored to work at Holyrood for many years. You and your teams set a tone and and standard that will be remembered for years to come. You were always dignified and classy and will be much missed My deepest condolences go to the King and the Royal family on the loss of the Queen. No words can possibly soothe the great hurt that her death has brought the nation or her family but I know I will always hold her in the greatest respect and affection.
