About this deal

If you will use the bath oil in the shower, apply the bath oil evenly over the body without adding any water. The excess oil will be removed under the shower but make sure to not remove all the oils from the skin. For a newborn baby or a child bath – add around 5 ml of bath oil to the water and gently sponge over the skin for a few minutes only. Balneum Plus is also an excellent cleanser, which helps to protect the skin against further drying. The bath additive rapidly relieves the symptoms associated with dry, itchy skin and helps to cleanse the skin. This is particularly important for people who have eczema and dermatitis, as these skin conditions can make the skin more susceptible to infection. Balneum Plus helps to protect the skin from further damage and infection, making it an essential product for anyone who suffers from these conditions. Balneum Plus Bath Oil is an emollient used with water. It leaves a thin film of oil on the surface of the skin that prevents further moisture loss. The soya in the formula soaks in, softening the skin and replacing oils lost as a result of dryness. The other active ingredient, Lauromacrogol, is in fact a local anesthetic that helps relieve itching caused by problem dry skin conditions. For a full adult bath – add around 20 ml of bath oil to around 100 litres of bath water. Soak in the bath water for 10 to 20 minutes, but not longer.

After bathing or showering gently pat dry with a towel. If you wipe or rub your skin too much the Balneum Plus will not work as well. Shake well the bottle of Balneum Plus Bath Oil before using it. Add several drops of the bath oil to warm or lukewarm water as the bath is running. Use the recommended measurements as provided for in the information leaflet. Mix well. Frequency and duration of baths are dependent on the severity of your skin condition. In general, adults should use the bath oil for at least three times a week, or as directed by your doctor. Daily bathing is recommended for children and babies.Do not use Balneum Plus Bath Oil if you are allergic to peanuts, soya, and other ingredients of the bath oil.

Always clean the bath immediately after you have used Balneum. To do this rinse thoroughly with hot water and then clear with a household cleaner. Pour the appropriate amount of Balneum Plus liquid into the bath as the bath is filling (please see below for correct measurements), be careful the water is not too hot. There are no known interactions when using Balneum with other medicines but please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Avoid getting Balneum in your eyes, however, if this should occur, rinse immediately with clean water. The ingredients of Balneum Plus Bath Oil, particularly soya oil and peanuts, may cause allergic reaction on some individuals. Other ingredients such as benzylbenzoate may cause some irritation to the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Balneum contains soya oil: if you are allergic to peanut or soya, do not use this medicinal product. All full baths, including those to which Balneum has been added, should only be taken after consultation with your doctor in the following cases; major skin injuries, acute skin diseases of unknown cause, feverish and infectious diseases, heart failure and high blood pressure. Do not use soap with the bath oil. The soap will remove the protective emollient layer of the skin. For a partial bath in a sink – add around 2.5 ml of bath oil to around 5 litres of water. Gently rub the water over the affected area of the skin.
