Hex Pegs are a 285mm-long steel screw-in peg featuring stainless-steel washer, rubber grommet, a clever rope retaining hook top, and a 15mm head.

The 19mm head fits both the Ground Dog screw in pegs, and the stabilizer legs – this means you only need to carry one size drill socket! If you don’t have a drill, place a thin strong rod through the hole in the top section of the peg, and rotate by hand, to screw the peg in place.

Being a screw-in design, a hammer is replaced by a 12V drill, although a shifter, spanner, ratchet or a hand brace (like your caravan leg winder) can be used to insert and extract the pegs. We’ve designed a screw-in tent peg aka ground anchor for most every ground type from soft dune sand and loose earth through to regular campground grass and hard rocky earth and clay.

I have tried those screw in ones and yes they do need a drill and really not had much success especially on some of the club's hard-standings an found it 'easier' as above. I also liked the inverted rope hook/clip so no sharp ends are pointing skywards to catch unsuspecting toes.
