Jimmy’s scene was shot on location at the Central Beach Club in Prestatyn. The filming took most of the day to complete and was under the direction of Lee Howard of Best Picture Films.

Jimmy said: “I was very grateful to Anne (Marshall, director) and the Popstars organisation for hosting this activity and I am very excited about returning to the theatre later in the year for a show with the Popstars on Saturday the 11th of July.” He said he found the atmosphere around the production team very warm and enthusiastic. Also on the recent show was Stevie Jaxx and Paula Martine, alongside young performers from their Popstarz Academy. It will feature songs from the Beautiful South’s former lead singer Briana Corrigan and American Pie star Thomas Nicholas as well as a string of original songs written by songwriters especially for the movie.
