About this deal

Ensure hardware compatibility and stability through NVIDIA support of the latest OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, and CUDA standards, and deep engagements with independent software vendor (ISV) developer engagements, providing certification for over 100 professional software applications. Rich, Expansive Visual Workspace With a dual slot PCIe form factor, the Nvidia RTX A4500 looks identical to the Nvidia RTX A5000 and it is much closer in specs than it is to the single slot Nvidia RTX A4000. Terms Apply. Promotion ends 3 December 2023. Items are subject to availability. Max 5 units per customer. Production Branch drivers are designed and tested to provide long-term stability and availability, making these drivers ideal for enterprise customers and other users who require application and hardware certification from ISVs and OEMs respectively. On the edge of the RTX A4500 there is a NVLink connector. NVIDIA also includes connectors for its stereo and NVIDIA Quadro Sync II ports for multi-GPU applications. The stereo and sync ports are typically not found on GeForce GPUs. PNY NVIDIA RTX A4500 Top Model

All other products will be delivered via the fastest available method (excluding bank holidays and weekends) and generally within 3-5 days, depending on customer location. On the desktop side, Nvidia revealed the RTX A5500, which slots in between the RTX A5000 and RTX A6000. It would appear that the RTX A5500 will replace the existing RTX A5000. The new model comes with 80 streaming multiprocessors (SMs), 16 more than the RTX A5000 and only four less than the RTX A6000. In addition, the CUDA core bump allows the RTX A5500 to deliver up to 34.1 TFLOPs of FP32 performance, 23% higher than the RTX A5000. The RTX A1000 and RTX A500 are newcomers to the RTX family. Both models sport 16 SMs or 2,048 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR6 memory. The differentiator is the memory bandwidth. The RTX A1000 is good for 224 GBps, whereas the RTX A500 is limited to 112 GBps. It would appear that the A500 is limited to a 64-bit interface with 14Gbps GDDR6, while the A1000 gets the full 128-bit interface that the GA107 GPU offers. The RTX A4500 takes the place of the RTX A4000, with 46 SMs — four more SMs than the latter. In addition, Nvidia has doubled the memory on the RTX A4500 from 8GB to 16GB. The RTX A4500 also shows higher memory bandwidth with a rating up to 512 GBps, 33% higher than the RTX A4000. That again indicates the use of 16Gbps GDDR6. Nvidia told DEVELOP3D that the A5500 not only gives customers a bit of a performance boost over the A5000, but improves the ‘overall availability of supply’. The company admits that it would have been limited if it was only producing the RTX A5000 all year long. What is the RTX A4500?

DLSS allows scenes to be rendered in real time at lower resolutions and then deep learning-based upscaling techniques are used to output ‘a clean and sharp high-resolution image’. The aim is to boost 3D performance or cut render times. The RTX A5500 has 58 SMs compared to the RTX A5000's 48 SMs, resulting in a 21% increase in CUDA cores and a potential 28% boost in FP32 performance. However, it still has the same 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and it's unlikely that the 256-bit memory interface has changed. Nvidia apparently endowed the RTX A5500 with 16Gbps memory, which is how the graphics card can offer up to 512 GBps of memory bandwidth. Nvidia RTX GPUs tend to have more memory than their consumer ‘GeForce RTX’ counterparts, so they can handle larger datasets, both in terms of geometry and textures. In the higher-end models this is Error Correcting Code (ECC) memory to protect against crashes.

The road climbs to Ecton, then crosses a valley to pass to the north of Earls Barton, which is served by the B573 which we meet at traffic lights. There's a brief dual section as we cross the next valley, after which the road winds through the village of Wilby. On the far side of the village centre newer houses line the road as far as the next roundabout, on the A509 Wellingborough bypass, where the A4500 ends. The A5128 now follows the line of the former A45 into town. We put the RTX A4500 through a series of real-world application benchmarks, for GPU rendering and real-time visualisation. There’s also a difference in software. With special professional graphics drivers, Nvidia RTX GPUs are certified for a range of pro applications and are tested by independent software vendors (ISVs) and the major workstation manufacturers. But these are no ordinary times. The ongoing global semiconductor shortage has meant supply of the RTX A4000 and RTX A5000 has been patchy to say the least. Since these ‘Ampere’ GPUs launched in Spring 2021 they have been very hard to get hold of. And some of the inflated prices we have seen online have been quite eye watering. The A4500 follows the original line of the A45 through Northampton. The section east of the town centre gained the number on construction of the A45 Northampton bypass. The western section only became the A4500 when the A45 was rerouted to multiplex with the M1 in the 2000s.

Nvidia told AEC Magazine that the A5500 not only gives customers a bit of a performance boost over the A5000, but improves the ‘overall availability of supply’. The company admits that it would have been limited if it was only producing the RTX A5000 all year long. What is the Nvidia RTX A4500?Improved NVIDIA Control Panel User Interface: previously hidden user interface elements of the NVIDIA Control Panel when system is connected to a remote desktop or when primary display is not connected to the NVIDIA GPU (e.g., MS Hybrid), are now accessible; viewing system topology details, setting up Mosaic, and access to GPU utilization are now available. There’s also a difference in software. With special drivers, Nvidia RTX GPUs are certified for a range of professional applications and are tested by independent software vendors (ISVs) and the major workstation manufacturers. There wasn’t a huge performance difference between the RTX A4500 and A5000 in our real time 3D tests. With our automotive test model in Autodesk VRED Professional, for example, the A5000 was between 1.75% and 3.10% faster than the A4500, depending on the level of anti-aliasing applied. One might expect the AMD CPU to bring down scores slightly in some of our real-time 3D tests. However, as most of these benchmarks are very GPU limited, rather than CPU limited, we wouldn’t expect the CPU to influence the results that much.

Nvidia RTX GPUs are professional graphics cards designed specifically for workstations. They are standard in most HP Z, Dell Precision, Fujitsu Celsius and Lenovo ThinkStation workstations, and are also offered in workstations from smaller manufacturers such as BOXX, Scan and Workstation Specialists. The one main difference between the GPUs is that the RTX A4500 does not support Nvidia virtual GPU (vGPU) software. So, if you want to virtualise the graphics card to serve multiple users in a virtual workstation, you’ll need the RTX A5000, A5500 or A6000. The card itself has 7168 Ampere-generation CUDA cores along with 20GB of ECC GDDR6 memory.
