After having tried the range when I first found non alcohol wine, I have recently revised the suite of McGuigan Zero offerings. Enjoyed by many, our contemporary McGuigan Zero range is not only alcohol-free but also rich and full in flavours, allowing you to enjoy without the alcohol & the side effect of drinking alcohol From red wine, white wine, sparklings and even rosé wines, the flavour profile and characteristics of each variety areas you would expect, proving that you don’t need alcohol to enjoy a full-flavoured experience in the glass. Perfect for any occasion where you want to enjoy wine without alcohol. The SCC is a unique vacuum distillation process that removes the alcohol from the expertly crafted base wine. On the outside it’s a vertical, stainless-steel cylinder (the column). On the inside, there is a central rotating shaft and a series of alternate spinning and stationary cones. The spinning cones attach to the shaft and the stationary cones fix to the wall of the column. McGuigan Wines has responded to the global acceleration of moderation and abstention by expanding its portfolio to offer consumers greater choice across the wine category. With subtle spice and aromatic vanilla, plum, and forest berry notes, this alcohol-free Shiraz is beautifully balanced and full of flavour.

Generous aromas of gooseberry and citrus fruits, with a subtle grassy tone. This refreshing full-flavoured Sauvignon Blanc delivers flavours of passionfruit and lime whilst finishing clean and crisp. This sweet rose is aromatic and vibrant, with the scent of garden flowers combined with fresh strawberries and citrus fruits. The palate is a generous balance of distinct forest berry and citrus fruits, leading to a clean, crisp, and refreshing finish. Lower sugar– Zero Rosé has 40 grams per litre; significantly less than orange juice (88g/L) or Coke (106g/L)** After drinking alcohol, some people may experience a decrease in restorative REM sleep and decrease restorative REM sleep, so at the end of the month, you’ll likely find your sleep and energy levels drastically increase. The McGuigan Zero range of non-alcoholic wine is made by fourth-generation South Australian winemakers McGuigan. The range includes a Zero Sparkling, Zero Rose, Zero Shiraz, Zero Chardonnay; and Zero Sauvignon Blanc. All of which are made with South Australian grown grape varieties.

First, we start with a uniquely rich full-alcohol wine sourced from premium vineyards in South Eastern Australia and crafted at our Buronga Hill winery, a state-of-the-art facility 100% powered by wind and solar. The importance of this base wine cannot be understated as it is a wine abundant with varietal flavours and aromas, made by our experienced and award-winning winemakers specifically for McGuigan Zero. More time and energy is spent on this stage of our signature method than any other to ensure, after the alcohol is removed, McGuigan Zero retains as much of the original wine’s varietal flavours and aromas as possible. Once our winemakers are happy with the base wine, it’s on to the SCC. Removing alcohol reduces the wine’s capacity to age, so to ensure it tastes exactly how the winemaker intended we recommend enjoying Zero on or before the ‘best before’ date specified on the label If you frequently drink alcohol as a way to unwind at the end of the day, finding an alternative way to relax can help you get through a dry month and encourage healthy drinking habits.
