About this deal
The Master Distiller uses a secret recipe of eleven botanicals, including some traditionally used for making cordials in the 18th Century, as well as juniper, orange peel and English coriander with the unique addition of red cole to give the gin its long, lingering finish. This gin is produced using 11 botanicals including the Indonesian cubeb pepper, angelica, English coriander, juniper, orange peel, and liquorice. To all who gave this gin a low rating I would sincerely recommend that you have fun trying it with different tonics and find your own favourite serve.

In 1788 Edward, Thomas' son became a founding member of the Amicable Society which was an 18th century drinking club, where he met Edward Greenall of the then brewing family. Thomas Dakin Gin is a classic style, single gin with juniper and citrus notes, distilled in small batches in our copper still pot. Handcrafted in small batches, using a juniper-led blend of eleven of the finest botanicals, distilled in a baby copper pot still following centuries-old traditions.
These fresh, 100% natural flavours combine to create a gentle, aromatic taste layered with zesty citrus, delicate nutty oils, rich exotic spices and a hint of sweetness.
It is a classic style London Dry Gin, hand-crafted in small batches, which has been inspired by Thomas Dakin, the forefather of quality English gin. At the time, most gin was of a poor quality, but Dakin was a trailblazer, who produced a gin of purity and superiority for its time.
It would be easy for some people to let the concept of horseradish in gin skew their tasting and impression of this Thomas Dakin. His inventive and enlightened outlook created a superior quality spirit and an unrivalled gin distilling heritage and legacy.
