About this deal

Experience both audible and visual safety warnings with the digital screen, which will change colour to indicate different incident types for clear safety advice. Looking for a CO-9D alarm replacement? FireAngel’s new FA3322X4 alarm will be replacing any end-of-life CO-9D alarms. CO detectors should be installed near potential sources of carbon monoxide, essentially any fuel-burning appliances such as boilers, cookers and ovens, fireplaces (both open and enclosed burners), and portable generators. As you are likely to be most affected by CO in areas of your home that you spend the most time in it is advisable to install alarms in those areas as well, such as the living room and bedrooms. It is also worth noting that while one detector is better than no detectors at all, larger homes may require several detectors to cover the property fully. https://www.fireangel.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/MA0394R1-FireAngel-CO-Icon-Guide-Blog-Assets-Identifier-Guide-Draft-1_Power-Nightime-Sensing.mp4

The alarm’s high sensitivity mode will be enabled if the alarm predicts CO levels will increase to or above 180ppm for fast reaction to rising CO levels. Near an appliance: they should be placed within 1 to 3 metres horizontally from the appliance and between the height of the appliance to 150mm below the ceiling – i.e., not above a stove where it would be in the path of steam or fumes. The 7 year sealed battery powered FireAngel CO-9X carbon monoxide alarm features clear LED indicators for power, fault or alarm status and a large test/reset button for ease of testing the device. The CO detector can be wall mounted for home use, or can be left free standing, making it a suitable portable detector to take on holiday. The FA6813-EU offers electrochemical sensing technology and a clear loud alarm to ensure trusted carbon monoxide (CO) detection for your home. This alarm also features our new Crescendo Test, which helps to protect your hearing by allowing you to choose the volume level of the test alarm. Simply hold down the test button and the alarm will move through the increasing volume levels (similar to a rising ‘crescendo’) until you find the alert sound level you are comfortable with. If your CO alarm is flashing a red LED light every 20 seconds, it has been activated recently. This is referred to as ‘alarm memory’, find out more about what this feature means here. Why does my FireAngel CO alarm not sound when I press the test button?

What's Included?

With low level CO monitoring, a pre-alarm warning to open windows helps reduce the risk of CO poisoning and prevents build-up of dangerous CO levels. If a room is not ventilated and ppm levels continue to increase, the alarm will activate. FireAngel’s FA3322 digital carbon monoxide alarm features many icons on the LCD screen. View our guide below to help you understand what each represents. Do not install CO alarms within 3 metres of doors or windows, above radiators, or immediately close to anything that gives off steam or fumes like a cooker or shower room. Similarly, it is not recommended to install detectors in dusty areas such as workshops or garages.

Also note that carbon monoxide has been proven to spread into neighbouring properties through open windows and, in semi-detached or terrace houses, through loft spaces. If your property has an attached garage with a connecting door through to the house, it is recommended to fit a CO alarm inside the house leading from that doorway. FireAngel’s new range of carbon monoxide alarms use intelligent sensing technology for a rapid reaction to rising levels of CO. An audible Carbon Monoxide detector is the only way to be alerted to a carbon monoxide leak; it can’t be smelt, tasted or seen so it’s impossible for human senses to detect. FireAngel recommend a CO alarm is installed between 1 m and 3 m away from each fuel‑burning appliance, as well as installing additional units in areas such as living rooms and bedrooms where you spend most time whilst at home. Activating your new FireAngel CO alarmWith the alarm memory function, the red LED will flash to provide a visual indication of a previous CO alarm activation. Our FA3322X4 Carbon Monoxide Alarm with digital display comes with a sealed, tamper proof battery that will last the lifetime of the alarm. After 1 minute, press the test button to hear the alarm sound. Please note, the alarm will not sound before the 1 minute activation period is complete. CO alarms and rental properties Once your CO alarm is activated and tested, choose to install the alarm by mounting on a wall or free standing on a shelf.
