About this deal

Primary side: Half-Bridge & LLC Resonant Controller Secondary side: Synchronous Rectification & DC-DC converters With its super compact SFX form-factor combined with high power output, the Revolt SFX is the perfect match for small form-factor chassis. Its length of only 100 mm frees up space for easier cable management and improves the overall building process. The Evolv Shift XT’s innovative design allows the chassis to extend its height to tailor the cooling performance to your need. In “Compact” mode, the Evolv Shift XT can house systems with up to 324mm long 3-slot GPUs and 72mm tall CPU coolers that have direct access to fresh air. In “Air Boost” or “Liquid Cooled” mode, the height can be increased from 32mm to 60mm respectively for further hardware compatibilities like adding 2x 120/140mm fans (Air Boost) or a 240 AIO Liquid Cooler (Liquid Cooled) for the best possible performance. Ferrum MasterLegally their Toughpower SFX Series is mentioned everywhere, it doesn't mean that those have compliance with the SFX sizing. Additionally, as we would expect in this price point, the SF750 is a fully modular power supply featuring very high Platinum efficiency certification. This is a standard sized SFX chassis too – its not one of the extended length versions we see from time to time from other companies.

We like the box artwork for this power supply, all the key points are listed along the bottom at the front of the box, along with a quality high resolution image in the middle. Power Factor Correction (PFC) is used in some equipment to minimise the inductive component of the electrical current. This helps to reduce the losses in the electrical supply to that equipment. Power Factor Correction capacitors are normally used to reduce induction in an electrical load, which minimises wasted energy and hence improves the efficiency of a company and reduces electricity costs. This Phanteks SFX PSU is 80 Plus Platinum certified, achieving 92% efficiency at 50% system load. Not only is this power supply efficient, the Revolt SFX is equipped with a silent zero RPM mode. This means when the PSU is below 30% system load the high quality 92mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan is inactive, enabling ultimate silence. Phanteks Revolt SFX 750W 80 Plus Platinum PSU Specifications: PSU Dimensions (L x W x H) The Revolt SFX series power supplies are available with two gold-rated models of 650 Watts and 750 Watts and a platinum series PSU at 750 Watts. These small form factor PSUs feature a 92 mm fan that remains at 0 RPM below a 30% load to reduce noise while idle. Manufactured by Seasonic, the Revolt SFX power supplies ensure quality and dependability. Below is Phanteks press release. PHANTEKS LAUNCHES EVOLV SHIFT XT ALONG WITH REVOLT SFX POWER SUPPLIES high quality Japanese 105°C/221°F capacitors provides great durability as well as offering the highest stability, while remaining reliable.

On top of that, the built-in Smart Zero Fan (750 W&850 W: 92 mm; 1000 W: 120 mm) makes absolutely no noise at all when running under 30% load. The Toughpower SFX series features low ripple noise, strict voltage regulation, and extended hold-up time. Firstly, from 0% to 100% load, ripple noise produced from 12 V, 5 V, and 3.3 V are consistently under 30 mV, bringing extensive lifespan and overall superior protection for your system. Secondly, the Toughpower SFX series promises ±2% voltage regulation compared with Intel's standard +5%, -7%, and ±10% for -12 V. Last but not least, the 17 ms hold-up time will prevent your system from rebooting and makes sure the system still runs perfectly even with a brief interruption. Corsair are using Great Wall as the partner for this particular power supply design. The layout, construction and overall design is very similar to the SF600 model in the range which we had a look at before. All of the electrolytic capacitors inside are Japanese made, which is good to see – especially as Corsair claim this in their literature. The primary bulk capacitor is made by Nippon Chemi Con rated for 470uF, 420C and 105C. Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Case, Cooling, Gaming peripherals, and enthusiast memory solutions, is excited to announce their latest addition to the PSU lineups, the Toughpower SFX series, which is designed to meet ATX 3.0 standards and is PCIe Gen 5.0 ready. Designed to run with the RTX 40-series series graphics cards and the latest Intel CPUs, the Toughpower series comes with an SFX-sized form factor and fits in the mainstream ATX and ITX cases, which is essential for users looking to put together a smaller-footprint build. The following are the Toughpower SFX series's dimension for your reference. 750 W & 850 W: 125 mm (W)x63.5 mm (H)x100 mm (D); 1000 W: 125 mm (W)x63.5 mm (H)x126 mm (D). DC-DC Converters: 4x Infineon PSMN2R0-30YLE (30V, 100A @ 100°C, 2.8mOhm @ 100°C) PWM Controller: APW7159C This is the first desktop PSU with fan failure protection I have come across. In other words, if the fan has a problem or the PSU doesn't detect it, which would happen if it isn't connected, the SPX-750 won't start. Due to public requests we have changed our temperature settings recently – previously we rated with ambient temperatures at 25C, we have increased ambient temperatures by 10c (to 35c) in our environment to greater reflect warmer internal chassis conditions.
