Magneto CMS pages for different sites

Postby AndyJay » Fri Jul 11, 2014 8:45 am

Hi all.
I'm pretty new to the Magento system, but I'm getting there (I Think).
I want to develop several websites selling products from the same database (each site will have different products).
Each website will have a different design and look.
As I understand it, Magento can easily accommodate this.
Here's my question:
Is It possible to create different CMS Pages for each website?
Can they have different footer links, copyright notices, delivery details, about us pages, etc....?
If this is possible, how is it achieved?

Thank you in advance
Andy

Hi Andy,

I know this is going back to July so you've probably had an answer now. That being said, others may have the same question so I thought I'd jump in and answer it.

Yes - Different stores and store views can run entirely different CMS pages to the other store setups you have, even when you run them from the same database. Under the 'CMS > Pages' tab, if you create a new page, you'll be able to select the stores that this is viewable on, so if you had a 'Terms and Conditions' page, you could have one for your UK store, one for USA and one for France, all in different languages.

I hope this helps!

Many thanks,
Lewis
