Daily-wear lenses are not indicated for overnight wear and should not be worn while sleeping. Clinical studies have shown that the risk of serious adverse reactions is increased when these lenses are worn overnight. If you miss your dose of eye drops, use them as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next dose. In this case, skip the missed dose and use it again at the usual time. Usually, drops may be used as often as needed. Ointments are usually used 1 to 2 times daily as needed. If using an ointment once a day, it may be best to use it at bedtime.
