About this deal

He joined the Supreme Court in April 2023 from a bank in the City, where he served as the Head of IT and led the bank's digital transformation. Pejman is a certified CISO and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and master's degree in Information System Management. Nonetheless, the mesh ensures that you are kept cool and breathable all day – which is important in hot and humid climes. It’s also more hygienic over time due to the ‘pass-through ability’ concerning bodily emissions. In this sense, it’s very different to the epic (in terms of both comfort and price) Logitech x Herman Miller Embody chair, but only slightly different to its sibling Aeron, which is softer and a bit more comfortable but doesn’t have nearly as good posture support. In 1995 she left private practice to join the Government Legal Service serving as a legal adviser on financial services at HM Treasury until 2001. In 2002 she was appointed to the Senior Civil Service and moved to the Ministry of Defence as Director of Operational and International Humanitarian Law. From 2005 to 2008 she was seconded to the Office of Counsel to the Speaker of the House of Commons.

From 2017 she was the Court of Appeal’s jurisdiction lawyer, using powers delegated to her by the Master of the Rolls to give directions on matters of jurisdiction. During this time she also acted as an RCJ Anti–Bullying and Harassment advisor. In early 2022 she undertook a secondment to the Registry of the Supreme Court as Deputy Interim Registrar, and she was appointed as Registrar of the Supreme Court in September 2022. Sir David was appointed as a Lord Justice of Appeal and made a Privy Counsellor in 2015. He retired as a Lord Justice of Appeal, after reaching the then mandatory retirement age of 70, in June 2021. Thereafter, he practised as an arbitrator and legal expert, as well as continuing to sit in the Court of Appeal as a retired Judge on a part time basis. He also sat in appeals to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. ErgoTune Supreme V3 review: Price and availability ErgoTune Supreme V3 review: Price and availability To make a long story short, ErgoTune's Supreme V3 is easily the highest quality mesh chair we've tested at this price point. Whether it's right for you will ultimately depend on your tolerance for its strong lumbar support. Ultimately, comfort is a relative thing. Sitting in a beanbag all day might seem comfortable until you get up. I’ve sat in enough dodgy, office chairs to respect that the ErgoTune Supreme V3 doles out some tough love, in that you can sit in it all day and get up and happily move around afterwards… in comfort! Not many other chairs (especially at this price) allow that.

Executive Team

Lord Sales became a Queen's Counsel in 2006 and continued to act in the re-named post of First Treasury Counsel Common Law until his appointment to the High Court, Chancery Division in 2008. He was a member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal between 2008 and 2015, and Vice-President of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal between 2014 and 2015. He studied law at Edinburgh University and undertook doctoral research in law at the University of Oxford. He qualified as an advocate in Scotland and as a barrister in England. He practised at the Scottish Bar in a wide range of civil cases, and also prosecuted serious crime. He served as a senior judge in Scotland for 13 years. From 2008 to 2012 a member of the Inner House of the Court of Session, and from 1998 to 2008 a member of the Outer House of the Court of Session, where he was the Principal Commercial Judge.

He took Silk in 1996. He was a senior member of the Government Civil Panel of Counsel from 2004 to January 2007. He held a number of positions at the Bar including Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the Inn of Court of Northern Ireland and Vice Chairman of the General Council of the Bar of Northern Ireland. Lord Sales was educated at the Royal Grammar School in Guildford, before reading law at both Churchill College, Cambridge, and Worcester College, Oxford. It offers a very solid, five-feet, wheeled base that feels fully planted (and yet very moveable) both on carpet and hard floors. This connects to the upper portion via a high-quality pneumatic stem. The V3 now comes with three options of this for different heights: Petite (140cm – 159cm), Standard (160cm – 179cm) and Tall (180cm – 210cm). When I was first sent the Supreme V3 for review, supply chain issues meant that I received the Tall stem later, by which time the default Standard stem was fully wedged and not coming out. Still, the standard stem suited my 189cm height just fine. The new Petite stem will suit shorter people who don’t like their legs dangling off the ground.Personally, I loved it, as it prevented me from slouching, which is something I always find myself doing in most other chairs. That said, some may find the Supreme V3's lumbar support a little too unforgiving. Thankfully, the lumbar section has its own rotating bar controls which let you loosen its tension somewhat. Of course, your overall comfort level with the Supreme V3 will surely be determined by your tolerance for its lumbar support, which does force you to sit upright with perfect posture. Robert John Reed, Lord Reed of Allermuir took up appointment as President of the Supreme Court on 13 January 2020, succeeding Lady Hale of Richmond.
