About this deal
is a small curved shaped device made of plastic and silicon pads that allow you to easily move your wrist around comfortably with a mouse or similar computer accessory. Carpio reinforces pressure from the wrist to the lower palm, so actually, it's a palm rest rather than a wrist rest. The felt material feels soft to the touch, while also serving as a shield from potential gear scratches or damages.
The feet are made out of PTFE Teflon, the same material NASA uses for their space suits - so you know it works. PTFE (Teflon) feet don’t constrain your wrist motion, they enable Carpio to glide together with your hand and allow your arm to move naturally. Elegant yet ergonomic design lifts your wrist for about a centimetre to reduce the harmful extension and improve your wrist position. I love how portable and minimalist it is while also being multifunctional for both mice and keyboards. The first downfall to the Carpio is that while it’s advertised to help make you feel freer in lieu to the real estate on your desk, what I quickly discovered is that it’s almost a little too mobile.
The pads are rubber-like: flexible and soft to the touch but not as soft as memory foam for example because the softness isn’t as essential for ergonomics as Carpio’s shape.I’ve spent most of 2023 with the Samsung Galaxy S23 as my daily driver and I’ve come to the conclusion that the regular sized version of Samsung’s flagship phone just might be the most well rounded phone I’ve ever used from the Korean giant.
