About this deal

The popular troll dolls as a merchandising phenomenon were created by Danish woodcutter and fisherman Thomas Dam in 1959, when he could not afford to buy a Christmas gift for his young daughter Lila. She showed the wooden dolls to her friends in Gjøl, Denmark; they all wanted troll dolls; Dam realized their potential; and he and his family created the Dam Things company to mass-produce them in plastic. Troll dolls became one of the biggest toy fads in the U.S. from 1963 to 1965, and have never stopped selling well. DreamWorks Animation licensed the rights to feature them in a movie in 2013. Here it is. Oh no, spare me," said the troll, "and I'll help you chop."On that condition, the boy agreed to spare his life, and it turned out the troll was an excellent lumberman; many trees were felled that day. The full version has listed characters who weren't even included in movie promotions and additional media, such as the name of Amp along with the bios of her, Sid Fret and Carol. The book also lists a character known as "Coral Blush" in other merchandise as " Tadd", providing a more official source for the name, since merchandise often only carries some early promotion and movie design information that later will be corrected. One issue with the book, however, occurred similarly with The Art of DreamWorks Trolls, in which which only certain elements of the final version of the movie are listed, i.e. many of the earlier storyline developments such as plot changes never made it into the book. These plot changes have instead been revealed elsewhere.
